New guy

Whats up people. Name is Josh. David (has the shelby) mentioned to me friday night at vangs dyno to come over here and join up.

I drive an '01 black Cobra. All stock except for a VRS o/r X, SLP LM2 full catback, JLT CAI, steeda FL subframe connectors with the X brace, and an eibach pro-kit.

Thanks to the guys who put on the dyno, and thats to Steve aka ruger311 for inviting me.

Stupid internet filters. I get to be the bad guy on that since I work in IT. I think a lot of people hate me in Tulsa for that reason.

Looks like you have one good looking Cobra...my brother had a 99 Rio Red Cobra before his 2005 GT purchase. Im sure you'll fit in just fine here.

It wasn't my first choice, but was available and a good deal. I wanted black, but have really enjoyed the blue. My previous mustang was Laser red. Quite the eye catcher as well. You will have to come out and join us for some events so I'm not the only non s197 tagging along.

Thanks for the invite. Yeah, I have the tuner on its way. Hopefully by friday we will have it in there and tuned and test it out again. Others with similar mods are making around 310 so, that would be nice.

The place the guys at svtperf use, Rick at amazon. I have such a simple set up its just not worth it for me to pay a couple hundred for someone to dyno tune. Once I get my ported heads and intake I will have to get a dyno tune done though. At this point a mail order should be cool for me. At least get the thing running as it should. I can squeeze a few extra HP by getting a dyno tune but if I spent $200 on parts I could get more hp than that.

Your the only 01 cobra on this forum...there are a few Machs, SN95 GTs, about 3 03-04 cobras. So yes..you are special

I can't remember how loud it was, all of them where loud at dyno day. I think my head was all stuffy from Deins race gas and I couldn't hear very well.
