* HELP - UPS stole my tires! *
Well not really. I have 2 tracking numbers from UPS:
1Z 6ER 575 03 7023 518 0
1Z 6ER 575 03 0356 841 0
for tires that are going on my Cobra. The information if you put those into www.ups.com shows that they were delivered yesterday at 2:52 PM yesterday but they didn't nor did they today. My brother gets home everyday at 3:30 and said there wasn't nothing there today or yesterday.
I'm getting kind of worried now. I know it was raining yesterday and maybe the driver didn't want to leave them in the rain but usually don't they leave you a note or something stating they have them and will try again tomorrow or something like that? I haven't got a note, a letter, tires, nothing. I'm trying to be patient and calm but it makes me kind of annoyed.
I live in a pretty nice neighborhood (gated and whatnot) so I really doubt someone took them off my porch within 45 minutes of them being delivered.
I have called a local UPS store and asked if theyhad them by any change. He said, "no they would be shipped to my house and the UPS store(s) wouldn't have them."
He gave me a 1-800 # and I called that but it was some BS robotic crap and it just confirmed that my packages has been delieverd on May 6 @ 2:52 pm.
What should I do?

I think tires have to be signed for. Who signed for them??

No one!!! That's what I'm saying. Usually if something like that has to be signed they will leave you a slip saying they will come back or something like that if no one is there BUT the tracking numbes both say delieverd at 2:52 to the front dooor...
If they are waiting for a signature it should say pending signature or something.. Am I right?

Re: * HELP - UPS stole my tires! *
If they indeed have been lost or stolen, then you have to file an incident report with UPS. They have someone call you, then they research to see what happened during the whole process, and that it infact was delivered. After that they call you to let you know what you already know, that you haven't recieved your package. Most times it is something with their system. I had a package that showed delivered once and infact it never left the previous warehouse because it never made it there to ship out. Long story short get on the phone with a human being and see if you can't get some answers. The 800# is the number to call, you can get to a represenative, I think if you just keep hitting 0 over and over it will get you to an operator.

Usually they will say pending, and it needs a signature. They will also leave a slip on your door to tell you of the next scheduled time for pick-up or to call and schedule a pick-up. You do need to get in touch with someone though and find out the status. If they try three times with no success they will send it back.
Do you have a duplicate address in your neighborhood? My old address was 7803 e 77th st, there was also in our neighborhood a 7803 e 77th CT and PL. Could be at your neighbors house by mistake.

Yeah, absolutely no slip at my door to tell me that. I will get in touch with a HUMAN and go from there.
No, no duplicate addres. I do have a next door neighbor who is a Mustang enthusiast though.. He could of snagged my tires and threw them on his GT500KR
I'll keep this thread posted...

I checked your tracking numbers. They do indeed show delivered, left at front door. Let us know what UPS has to say.

Damn buddy. Sorry to hear about that. I'm sure the driver either kept them or sold them for some quick dough and said he delivered them. I'm sure it's common parctice theivery at brown. Theft. It's what brown does for you!

All chidding aside I'd get in contact with the shipper and the company you bought them from and speak to a human being about what happened. Right away.

Re: * HELP - UPS stole my tires! *
LOL Thanks David. I've already had that scenario played out in my mind multiple times now.
I bought them from a legit guy (Premium member) over on www.svtperformance.com who has a great trader rating.
I'm wating for my dad to get home, to speak with him about it and I will speak with a human and go from there.

Re: * HELP - UPS stole my tires! *
This happened to me before, but I didnt catch it till about a week later. I called the 1800 number and talked to a real person telling them my tracking number showed delivered but I hadnt received my goods. Turned out even though it said it was delivered it was still held up (lost) at a kansas facility. My suggestion to you would be to talk to a real person and they can get the right info for you.

Re: * HELP - UPS stole my tires! *
800 # should be able to clear this up. Most pacakages are insured up to a certain amount. The shipper should state the value of the package at the time shipment is made. If in fact they were stolen....the insurance should take care of It I would think.
I had a package stolen off my porch just this past christmas. Either the driver stole it and said it was delivered...or some punk kids took the package off the porch....either way I never got it resloved and was out $80

Re: * HELP - UPS stole my tires! *
Found the tires!!! My mom was driving home from work and spotted some tires on the porch a few houses away. Come to find out the deliver delieverd them to the wrong address...idiot.
Thanks for all the tips. Honestly the 1-800 and the HUMAN wasn't any big help at all. He just kept telling me what I already knew from putting in the tracking # on the website.
Jarrod - I'm sorry to hear about that. Punk kids these days...

I work at Bill Knight ford, if you lowered the car go ahead and install the bolts. What wheels did you go with?

He went with four of them and they go on his car. Because they fit his car of course.
Glad to see you found the tires.
