Club Dyno Day @ Archangel Motorsports
Club Dyno Day!
Courtesy of Archangel Motorsports
Date & Time: May 24th 9am
- Kurtis has given a great deal! Only $50 for 3 pulls. This is over 50% off the normal charge.
- This is a club sponsored event. We'll have food and refreshments for all free for members and $5 for none members.
Everyone in invited! If you have not had a chance to see Kurtis' shop, come on out. It's pretty impressive.

Re: Club Dyno Day @ Archangel Motorsports
How about at least checking the A/F ratio? I may be able to make it to the dyno day. I'm crossing my fingers

Re: Club Dyno Day @ Archangel Motorsports
Mitch He uses a wideband that bungs into your rear O2 sensor to get an accurate AF reading...so yes $50 will get you your 3 pulls, datalogging through SCT, and Air to fuel I believe :) Plus he can watch your timing and AF to see if he can squeeze some more ponies...or at least make sure its safe.
Just to see his shop alone is worth it. its not done yet..but the cars he has in there usually are bad ass! New Z06, couple of GT500s, Mach 1 supercharged and juiced, 2 Terminators with motors being built, Cobras... pretty cool stuff
Put me down!! I might not Dyno but I will be there!!

Re: Club Dyno Day @ Archangel Motorsports
It does not include a tune. That takes time. If you want a custom tuning session you'll need to schedule that with Kurtis in a private session.

Awesome, I would love some A/F numbers on my car with the sensor in my rear 02 bung. On my last dyno the A/F ratio was from a tailpipe sniffer.
Seriously though, I have a Diablosport tune and I'm not sure of the compatibility with SCT so I doubt he could data log the runs. I may end up getting an SCT tuner and have him tune my car with it (some other time). Then I could have a race tune with pump gas/torco mix or pump gas/race gas mix.

Just because you have a Diablo tuner doesnt mean he cant use his SCT tuner to plug into your car and datalog i would think. But when your ready He can surely hook you up with some pretty safe yet powerful tunes. hes pretty good at what he does.

Re: Club Dyno Day @ Archangel Motorsports
Hmmm...I may have to talk my girl into letting me get a SCT tuner and a tune. I think it's going to be a little difficult seeing as how I just dumped over a grand on it last week. I think I'm done for awhile.

Re: Club Dyno Day @ Archangel Motorsports
I see where they're having "midnight drags" on the 24th. Would it be too "over the top" to have the regularly scheduled dyno-day and then an outting at the track? I will be back from Missouri (my nieces graduation) and ready to hit up a 1/4 mile track for sure.
EDIT: I might could do a TNT on the 23rd if it's too much for everyone on the 24th.

Re: Club Dyno Day @ Archangel Motorsports
the only problem at the midnights is you dont get time slips, someone has to watch and write the times down

Re: Club Dyno Day @ Archangel Motorsports
Count me IN...I'm so there!! I need to get my A/F checked and I may tweek the tune a little bit to see if I can get more out of it. Last time I had it dyno'd they pulled some timing out from 4.5K up to redline, just to be safe.
Since then the gas stations around here stopped selling 93 octane so I've been mixing 91 and 110  I'm sure I can up the timing back to where it was originally, but I want to be sure.
