Tomorrow

Well, I am going to use my free pass I won to run the brackets tomorrow. I will make sure and put the club down as the car sponsor. Dont know if I will make it to many rounds but its free and itll be fun.

Wow.. the regular brackets are pretty borring.. I got there when the gates opened at 1:30. Finally got the call to run the first qualifying pass at about 3pm. Ran a 13.97 with a head wind and not too much traction. Then about 5 or so got the call for the next qualifying run and missed third on that one so I dialed the car in at 13.95 and finally got to run the first elemination pass at around 6 or so. Of course I red lighted which was the first time I have done that in years. The car i ran against was a brand new Cadillac CTS that ran 11.89 on a 12.00 dial in. And yes it was stock. I cant remember what edition it is but its faster than the vette.. Its rear drive too. Crazy.. So if I had not broke out I would have been fine. But I didnt bother to buy back in. After that long of a day sitting around I just wanted to head home.

he posted it on Friday and was going to the track on saturday. I guess he figured the title would get people interested. Dunno. I didn't see this tip now

I thought it was fun at the TNT but you went and got right back in line, none of this sitting for hours..

Vette Caddy

Those are fast. But still a chebby!!

they had one of those CTS-V's on top gear. they put it in the same category as the ZR-1 so im not surprised by the 1/4 times. it SHOULD run that fast for the price. hell, it should be able to make you breakfast too!

These are not the ones that look like vettes. This is a CTS that has CTV badging on it. It has 4 doors and does rear wheel burn outs. Oh and runs 11's. Not cool at all..

They are referring to the motor... not the shape of the car.

I know but they do have a caddy that pretty much looks like the vette.. I dont know if it has the same engine package so I was making sure to clarify.. I dont keep up on my caddy lingo..

CTS-V is pretty much a vette but with a caddy body...
