Kind of a last minute deal. I just can't think of anything to do that won't be over run by highschool kids off for spring break. We talked about Florida last night but I know that would be a mistake

Go to New Mexico, no one goes there for Spring Break and it's beautiful. I was born there, that makes it a wonderful place, haha

Well strip bars are out... ;)
What about a day trip down to the kirpatrick center / omniplex? Always cool for the kiddos.

Alabaster Caverns, Great Salt Plains, there are a million things in this state alone that you have probably never seen.

Then vinyl it is, babe!!
Those places are in western Oklahoma. Get a map and plan a tour of the state, plan a route that takes you to four or five of them. There are some beautiful plateaus out in western OK that I never knew existed. I go on day trips almost every Sunday, it's good to get away for a day.

Re: What is everyone doing for Spring Break????
The clue is Heavener (southeast OK), Anadarko (southwest OK), Alabaster and Salt Plains (northwest OK)

Re: What is everyone doing for Spring Break????
So Sandy these places you speak of. What is there to do there? I know the Salt Plains you dig for crystals. But what is there to do at the other places?

Re: What is everyone doing for Spring Break????
The Caverns have tours and there are some cool bats there. Heavener has this cool Ruinstone that has carvings from the vikings, Leif Erickson was claimed to have been here. It's a good hike. Anadarko has Indian Bell dancers and Native American shows all day, plus a nice gift shop.
