I'm looking to put one of them Shaker radios in my stang. The one in my car don't play MP3 and most of my music collection is in data format holding about 100 songs in them. I seen a few on Ebay and holding off right now to buy it before i get a responce from yall.
-Do i have to do anything diffent to the wireing or is it just a plug and play?
-Just wondering if the wiring are still ther in the car if i deside to go with the extra speekers in the door.
-what is the difference in the 500 and 1000 shaker set up?
- how the hell do you take the radio out of theses cars?????

The radio thing is kindov a PITA. I changed mine over to a shaker 500 unit out of another members car. I had to take the car to Ford and have them re-flash the radio to work in my car. I think Jarrod still has his old shaker unit he might be willing to give it up? If you do the change it is pretty straight forwaras far as removal and installation. When you get to that point let us know and we can walk you through the removal process. Basically remove the center console, remove the two side plastic pieces next to the HVAC and radio area, unscrew the radio, unplug the harness and your done.

cool. would i have to upgrade my speakers? i think the 500 means 500 watts and the 1000 means 1000 watts. don't know if it comming out of that monster radio or if thers an amp some were hidden in th car?

The shaker head unit will not require a speaker change. The 500 and 1000 have amps. Again you may have to take it to Ford to have them reflash the damn thing to work in your car. BHF can do it. They outsource all their car audio stuff. If your car is still under factory warranty you can tell them that it stopped working and they will have the guy come fix it. If you tell them the truth you will likely get a hefty bill.

$100 sounds about right... most on Ebay are going for anywere between $115 + shipping to dang near $200. I was either going to sell it or keep it, but if you want it Hector Ill part with it.

If you need it quickly...you can pick it up from Pauls garage (aka my wharehouse) and give him the money or wait till next weekend and we can exchage. Its up to you.

Aw hell just try to get like 400 out of it plus shipping and tire wear.

Hey... I'm Puerto Rican, not Mexican. LOL!! We use american money in Puerto Rico. Plus........ I don't need a green card. (COOL) Besides, i was born in Jersey. I like my Sony cyber sshot buts its only a 5 mp camera. you can pick up 7 mp now for about $200- $300. I just like to stick with name brands. I'm all about Sony.

Crap.... i need to back up and reread all that post to see who,what and how much again. LOL!!! I'll throw in my boring CD factory radio in the mix if you want it. I just want the MP3 option to play my data CD music.

I bought T-Bone a Cannon Power Shot A560 (7.1 Mega Pixel) While it doesn't shoot with the G9, It shoots great pics for everyday. Look in my personal gallery for examples. All those Route 66 Santa Rose pics were taken with his little A560. They have the A590 out now. Same Camera. Just one mega pixel. I think they going for $175 or close...



If you're looking for shooting just everyday shots, you really don't need more than 5 or 7 mega pixels. I frame some of my stuff so I went with the 12, but really bought the G9 for the Raw Jpeg capability and the fully manual ability.
