and who do you recomend for motor mounts
i will be at the club breakfast, i used the prothane motor mounts. the price wasnt bad. if you dont do them now, you will have to pretty much remove the headers to get them put on. it is much easier to do it at the same time.

Re: light your pipes boys!
alright we'll see will be a while though will those headers you use hook into the stock xpipe?(if they will i can do the headers sooner rather then later and get the new xpipe at a later date)

Re: light your pipes boys!
the obx headers come with 2 different xpipes, one with a resonator and one that is just a straight pipe. they will hook up with the midpipe. you will remove the catted stock pipe when these go on. with the headers you dont need an additional xpipe

If you remove the cats you will need a tune to get rid of the annoying MIL.

Re: light your pipes boys!
i just put JBA headers on mines and i have the slp loud mouths. still that the factory cats. sounds nice but i like to get the x pipe from summit racing that cuts out the H in the pipes and slips on the x behind the cats. i like to get that Euro sound and old school sound mixed together.

www.brenspeed.com Has some sound clips for different H or X pipes you can listen to. You can also buy great stuff from those guys.

Re: light your pipes boys!
Keep in mind that if you remove the cats you will have to have a tune that turns off the rear O2 sensors or you will get a CEL. If you havent already purchased a tuner and CAI those guys are a good place for those as well

no i mean what are you getting? you said your getting an X pipe, are you getting an off-road or a catted?

Re: light your pipes boys!
off road all the way a tuners in order anyways...im gonna have to have it tuned professinoaly though the shelby gt's computer is firewalled from what i understand. you have to wipe the comupter then load a stock gt tune then retune from there.

Hes not getting a FULL X or H pipe... hes getting a short x and cutting his Exhisting H pipe and slipping on the shorter X...thus keeping his Cats and haveing the X in place. Get it?
