It was a lot of work... Prep prep and more prep. But that is the key to good results.

Re: Painting thy wheels...
fr 500's, they are already mostly black but anything that touches them puts a scratch on the paint. plus i have some curb rash that i would like to get rid of. they have silver around the edge now, they probably wouldn't look to bad all black. did you order wheel paint paul?

Looks like it turned out well. And since you only drive 10 miles a year it should last a long time.

Oh man. Keep the silver on the lip! It's looks great as is.
I started by using Dulipcolor paint but it wasn't bright enough. So I switched to Krylon. Then I used the Duplicolor Wheel Clear. I also used the Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter.

Cars er... Trucks. 2 gen 1 lightnings. One red stock, and one black. Not even close close to being stock.

Then I would demand the money for the sale of those two right now before you blow it on hookers and cheap booze.
Too late... ;)
Actually the profits went into his car fund.

I got a Canon G9. 12.1 Mega pixels. I wanted a dSLR but didn't really want the size. The G9 is about as close as you can get. I've been researching for about the last 2 months and read tons of professional reviews and all rated the G9 tops. Most said they carry it as a backup to there dSLRs. It has a fully manual and Raw Jpeg capability which I wanted. Only Cmaera in it's class that had it. It also has tons of presets. One of them is "underwater" which eliminates the extream blue hues that you get underwater. I'll use the BEEEP out of that one.
Next up... a HD Video Cam. ;)

Re: Painting thy wheels...
Man those look nice! I was wanting to get rid of my chrome lip as well. I want to either sell them and get all black or just finish up the wheel all black. How long did it take you to do those?
