Need 4 New Tires for 2007 Jeep Compass Limited

Is there anyone in the club that can get a good deal on tires? Its a 2007 Jeep Compass Limited and the tires size is 215/55/R18. It has firestone on them right now. I dont get it.... The jeep has 30,000 miles and the tires are bald. Walmart wouldnt even touch them because the tread was so low. I have a right passenger tire losing 2 to 3 PSI a day. The cheapest i have found is on Ebay for 4 tires but i think they are summer tires not all season tires and the tire rack has them for like 109.00 a tire plus 63.00 in shipping. I want to pay like 69.00/each.

This is the best price on Ebay. They are used and the tread is like 6 7/32 for 159.00 and 69.00 shipping on 4 tires . Is this a good buy or is the tread pretty gone on them. I would rather buy new but you do what you can do.

Don't skimp on tires... Especially in Momma's car with the kiddo's in it. Tires are not something you want to buy the cheapest out there.

Why? Because everything you do (stop, accel, turn) go through the tires. If the kiddos are riding around in it, I'd want the best tires out there.

I have mikes discount and tire barn fighting over prices. I called mikes discount tire and he has khumo kh11s for 87.00 a tire. Most everyone else is at 108.00 to 121.00 for this tire. Tire barn came back and said 151.00 per tire and i came right back at him and said "so what if told you that i could beat that" i told him the price of mikes and he beat it by a dollar on mounted and balanced. I will probably go with one of those guys. I dont need these tires to last forever. Just about a year or two until we buy Momma(as paul would say) a new Edge or Navigator. I know what you mean though paul.

Getting another navagator will kill your gas miliage.....your going to hate it when the Gas prices go up (and they will go up).

I kinda like the new Flex too.

Hey everyone in town is only carrying the khumo kh 11 tires but the problem is there not an all season tire. They said there were but when you look them up they said not entended for at or below freezing temps. I really need an all season tire.

This is the comparison of my stock tires and the tires im going to order. Stock tires are the Firestone firehawks on the left. It looks like for cheaper i will get twice the tire i have now in all catagories.

Yea, firehawk tires are junk, they don't last at all, samething happened to our goodyear rsa on the infinity, 21000 miles and bald. RSA's are as pathetic tire as they come.

Well anyways the ratings on everthing from ice, wet, snow traction were 3 out of 10 and the yokahama tire is 8 to 8.5 out of 10 on everthing and are an 80,000 mile tread rating were as the stock firehawks are only 40,000 mile witch the only lasted me 30,000 miles. I think its a good bye and a safe buy. I will have Mikes discount tire put them on for 17.00 a tire because of the tire pressure sensers.

My freind has a new 2008 limted that he just took off the tires and they have only maybe 10,000 miles on them and are like brand new.The size 245/60/R18 very nice tries.His name is Jason and his cell is 918-527-4028.Thanks Tony

LOL.. I just bought the cheapest tires I could find for the rear of the stang.. They are working MUCH better than the plastic ones I had on there.. DOH..

It's not that we didn't help because we don't care.... well ya. Ya it is. ;)
