Paul- Chairman, Founder and Jarrod's Idol/Mentor
Hey... It's me.
I feel like I've done this before....
I have a beautiful wife that is very tolerant of my expensive hobbies and a awesome son that enjoys my expensive hobbies. But enough about me… Let’s talk about the club…
It all started back when I was a wee lad. I custom ordered/bought a 2006 Mustang GT (Vista Blue). This was the most recent in a long list of Mustangs and Ford performance products.
In 2006 whilst hanging out at the BYB Tues night cruise, I found a young (read at least 80 yrs old) guy named Bob P. and David C. We discussed a grand plan. To fill the void that nobody was filling. A Car Club dedicated to the late model Mustang. With the popularity of the new Mustang being very strong we saw it a good move.
Soon Jeff, David M., Jarrod and Doc joined the crew along with a host of others. We signed Bob Hurley Ford as our first sponsor and moved forward with plans to formalize the club. Some time during the winter of last year, we became official.
Most recently Kurtis of Archangel Motorsports joined the list of sponsors, bolstering the clubs prominence within the community.
Since the club conception, we’ve done countless Cruises, Drag Race Events, Car Shows and simple Tech Days. We try to offer something for likes. Our flagship event remains The Mid-American Ford Performance and Shelby Meet held each June in Tulsa. (We’re ramping up for the 2008 show as I type)
Things have been moving fast… New sponsors, website and BMMC swag of all kinds on its way… It’s sometimes hard to keep up.
We’re a great group of enthusiasts who enjoy our cars and each others company. Chances are if you have a question about your Mustang, someone on here has the answer. I like to think that we’re more of a community than a club…
If you’d like more info on the club, feel free to PM/Email me or one of the board members. We’d be glad to answer any questions you may have.
Paul
