i got parts :)

while i was asking around about engine mounts i found a guy that had changed out his stock height bmr k-member. it had minimal usage due to the fact that his sc'er was sitting to high with it and his hood didn't fit. awesome deal for a $250 and another 100 for shipping. saved 150 off the price of a new one. more good news is my heads will be assembled and on the way next week i'm told. so within a week and a half i should have everything i need to finish the heads and cams.

i just made the mistake of adding up how much everything is going to cost. i pretty much knew, but ouch just ouch. the order will be paid for in 2 weeks.

anyone want to take a guess. here's the parts list as a whole:

the hint is the heads aren't new if you weren't around for that thread and neither is the nitrous kit. heads are from justin burchams car. buying them and everything else except for the nitrous from him (JPC). he's refurbishing them, new springs and seals. the nitrous was used a few times on a 50 shot and the guy decided he didn't want to go with two power adders.

the nitrous is only costing me 300 for everything.
the heads are 2000
everything else is me finding the best deal around. you'll find that if you shop around for the best deal and then go to one place with all those deals they will almost every time honor the prices.

it's not a n/a plan just happened that i'm buying those parts first. also the nitrous kinda makes it no longer n/a also. it won't have a remote bottle opener on it though so it will likely not see street duty. i have a long term plan set in place and this is just a part of it. anyone have another $15000 i can have ;) so i can just do it all now.


1. because the sc'er i wanted would really push the stock bottom end to the limits and i didn't want to risk blowing the shortblock.

2. funding for it got changed and i wasn't sure if i was going to have enough to afford the 2.8 kenne bell and all the supporting mods needed with it.
