Drive mine then see what you want I can help you get the power down if you can afford the parts. Mine is setup for Hallett it is tight almost too tight for the street but oh well.

I have never heard a mustang with the 12''....it may have been great! But o well...hind sight is 20/20
Its all about what you want out of the car...what kind of sound your looking for.
What do you think? 12 or 18?
Thanks Jarrod. I think I am game to try the 12's. I have heard a few stangs with 12's and it sounded pretty good.

Grabber07' wrote:Yes the resonators would help with the popping...it would eliminate it almost completely. Also it will quite the car down as well, but wont effect your HP gains added by the off road H. I had mine welded in for $40 at Leons Muffler in Sapulpa...did a great job. I got my resonators from Summitt. Link below....price is for one resonator..you will need 2.
There are 2 options for you.
1) You can either go with 12'' Resonators which will help with the popping and and quiet the car down a little.

or
2) Go with the 18'' Resonators which will quiet the car down a lot and eliminate most if not all the popping (Again it will quite the car down like adding 2 more mufflers). Some want their cars loud, BUT in my opinion...you can always add long tube headers or louder rear mufflers down the road to get that sound you want.

The decision is up to you
I got these resonators you suggested a few weeks ago, just haven't had time to get them welded on. Plus my car is sitting at Joe Cooper getting some warranty stuff done......so one of these days I will get them welded in.

Re: Cats
What warranty stuff? Make sure they dont reflash your PCM!! Your car will not start due to the tune! When they mess with your PCM it changes the strategy code to a new one...and your tune wont recognize your car.....car wont start as a result
warranty work is fine...just tell them not to mess with your PCM or Strategy code

Re: Cats
I got 4 new wheels put on (chrome on the inside was flaking off), all new decals (they were pealing off), new front bumper mesh grill inserts, and hopefully new HID's. So, I should be safe with them not messing with the PCM right??
