What is the best and easiest way to clean under the hood??
After our dirt road adventure yesterday, the car is a bit dusty under the hood. What is the best way to get it all cleaned up again?

From what I've seen, you take it to Jerry "03SonicBlue" and let him give you a first class detail job. He get's all my business from now on even though all I've seen is pictures of his work.

i power wash my engine compartment. i try to stand clear of the computer, the air filter and the coil packs. also the decals on the radiator cover. they will fly off with the pressure. i know, i had to glue mines back on. i going to wash my car right now. bird poop all over it. i can head down 41st and we wash the cars together.

Re: What is the best and easiest way to clean under the hood??
What chris posted from the SVT site will work. I highly recommend you make sure you use a water based shine if you intend on putting something glossy under the hood. Water based shines will evaporate off and not harm any of the electronics or coil packs. If you used an oil based product, it will damage your coil packs, I know, Ive seen me do it. I recommend something like amorall, that is a water based dressing.
Or, just bring it to me and I will take care of it.

Thank you for the kind words. I would be more than happy to take care of that GT500 for you. That one however is very unique, I would need it for at least a week to make sure I got it all cleaned up, .
Thanks again for the compliments.

here's another one for you to consider. very simple to do, only a 2 products needed, and you can do it at home. that is his engine compartment after detailing it using this method.

How about you do it in an afternoon and I promise not to check the odometer or gauge the tire treads?

Thats a deal. We can just meet somewhere to exchange the vehicles, you know somewhere close by like Stillwater, just so you can give a little run to stretch her legs,

Yeah, but no where close to what you have done, you put a dent in the flying cheetah. Do you plan on going to confession sometime this week for that.
