Re: Ethanol
I was keeping that list updated for a long time, but like Dave said as the prices come down it is easier and easier to find stations going back to 100%.
Still if there are some you want added feel free to PM me with them and Ill add them to the original.
It will be a pain in the butt if prices go back up to verify all those again.

Mine too! I had a 'stutter' when at idle and a 2-3mpg loss with it. I purposly ran 3 tanks straight of Ethanol gas through my Mustang and wifes 07 explorer. Then switched them both back over and recorded results for 3 tanks worth of 100%. Both cars gained around 3 mpg back and the Mustang deffinitly runs better!

Re: Ethanol
I wonder if the car just needs to be tuned for the Ethonal? I currently have a Bamachips tune that was most likely done with 100% gas. I wonder if you had an Ethanol tune...would your MPG come back?

I was wondering that same thing. I have a Breenspeed tune on mine.

Re: Ethanol
I would have to say probably not. From what I understand, ethanol does not contain as much energy as pure fuel. So you are using less energy and have to move the same heavy vehicle. the only way to improve your mileage is keep your foot out of it

They sell 93 real gas in Texas Louisiana and Florida. That's how I found out I was losing 5 mpg hiway on this ethanol crap.

Re: Ethanol
They sell 93 in certian areas in Oklahoma. I ran across a station I think it was shell on hwy 75 just as you enter Okmulgee a couple weeks ago. They had it 100% gasoline. I think it was a creek nation travel stop if I remember right.

Re: Ethanol
Good to know....Is there a reason 93 is not an option here? too expensive? Why did they take it away from Oklahoma?

Re: Ethanol
I can't figure it out. It's not the whole state. Seems like just Tulsa got ripped.

Re: Ethanol
Just discovered a new location in south Tulsa with 100% gas - the Valero station just north of 71st & Sheridan. All three grades have no ethanol; today's prices are: 87 octane - $2.49/gal; 91 octane - $2.75/gal.

93 octane
They also have 93 octane at 104 street and I-44 in OKC. There are 3 gas stations in my hometown that have the 10% ethanol warning but then have big banners saying no ethanol. They figured out that people were going to other stations for better MPG. I would ask the gas stations closest to my house and see if that is not the case.

Re: Ethanol
Im going to stay away from Valero...due to past experiences....Thats just down the street from me......but Id hate to spend another $1700 draining my fuel system and replacing crap due to inept valero owners and fueling systems

Re: Ethanol
I'm sure that was the fault of just the one station in BA where you got the bad gas, Jarrod - doesn't indicate a system-wide problem with all Valero stations.
