Need a stock throttle body for a 2005 Mustang GT

Went to change TPS because of fail safe codes and I guess there was dissimilar metal corrosion and the screws broke off in the housing. Vice grips only twisted off the screw stem.....drilled and tried to easy out the screws and they were really in there. Top hole actually broke the casting around hole trying to extract screw, so now I need a new throttle body. 10 minute job turned into car going out of service.

Why did Ford use steel screws in an aluminum casting???

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Ford can be retarted in their design. It seems they sometimes can only see whats directly in front of them...rather than what could be in front of them. The foreseeing of problems isnt their specialty.

For example: The scratching of our windows and tint all to hell due to using rubber on the inside of the windo seal and not attaching some felt or moleskin.

There are a few people on this site who have superchargers and or replaced their stock throttle body with a GT500 or BBK.....so I'll wait till thay chime in to confirm if they still have them.

Otherwise I'll look around for you and see what I can dig up on the Web.

I think I may have found you a stock throttle body. Guy with a 2005 now has a magnuson supercharger and is selling his stock Throttle body. I messaged him for the price...waiting his answer

Thanks but KBCal, Greg, is going to sell me his off his 2007. I appreciate the help and should pick it up tonight.
