Hey Sparky!
Does anyone know if we can get spark pluggies for our cars locally yet? I was wanting to change mine before this weekend and see if i can get rid of the highend stumble.

Re: Hey Sparky!
of course you can, but that doesn't mean they'll be the correct ones that will work in your engine

Re: Hey Sparky!
not all of them. the original ones did, but they now have some out that are like anyother plug that can be gapped with a standard plug gapper.

Re: Hey Sparky!
Would Randy at BHF hook you up with the plugs??? Seeing as they are a club sponsor and all, why not support the clubs needs??

Re: Hey Sparky!
The OEM plugs suck. They are two piece design and have a tendency to sheer off in the head.

Re: Hey Sparky!
I'm really suprised you guys are talking so casually about changing plugs in the 3V heads! I've read countless stories about NIGHTMARES changing the plugs. The OEM plug is about a 50 50 chance of breaking off inside the head. The two pieces are simply crimped together. HORRIBLE design, Ford really messed up there. I was scared to death to change my plugs, based on what I read about them, and reading horror stories. I had the Ford dealer do them, so that if the tech broke them, they'd hafta pay to fix it. If I broke it doing it myself, I'd be SOL. Anyway, good luck!

Re: Hey Sparky!
I think if you follow the TSB on them its not that scary. Ya just gotta let them soak for a while with the apropriate penetrating oil.

Re: Hey Sparky!
I changed mine; no problem if you follow the TSB exactly. I posted on here somewhere the place I bought my plugs - I think it was Summit; not sure. You'll think you broke it when you first turn it out; makes a horrible sound. All 10 of mine came out fine. (V10 was an '05 option only.)
