MY NEW NEIGHBOR!!! Ebi Era (FORMER OU SOONERS)2002
THIS IS MY NEW NEIGHBOR!!
Ebi Era. Former OU basketball player took OU to the FINAL FOUR in 2002.
He built his house on the last lot left just arround the corner from me. One of my Tech's at work serviced his house today and could not believe how many air jordan basketball shoes the man has. He tryed out for the Grizzlies(nba) but i have not heard any news on if he made the team.

Ebi Ere
Ebi Ere (born August 3, 1981 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is a 194cm shooting guard for the Melbourne Tigers. He previously played for the Sydney Kings, also of the NBL. Ere won the grand final 2007 with the Brisbane Bullets. He finished runner up to Chris Anstey in the 2008 NBL MVP.
Ere played college basketball at Barton County Community College from 2000 to 2002. He transferred to the University of Oklahoma before the 2002 season. Along with teammate Hollis Price, they led the Oklahoma Sooners to the Final Four in 2002 where they lost to the Indiana Hoosiers in the national semifinal.
Ere was among those selected to play for the Nigerian National Team in the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan. There he played alongside other American-born players with a tie or allegiance to Nigeria. He scored a total of 67 points (average of 11.17 per game), which was third behind Gabe Muoneke and Ime Udoka. In 2003 he played in the Orlando Summer League for the Milwaukee Bucks
In 2007 Ere was part of the Grand Final winning Brisbane Bullets. This year is leading the league in points per game with 27.2.
On NBA.com they said that his strengths were that he was an athletic wing player who can create his own shot and score points in bunches.
Ere has a major in African-American studies.
Ere will be playing for the 2008 Memphis Grizzlies Summer League team.
In 2008 Ere signed on with the South Dragons but decided he wanted to try for an NBA contract. The South Dragons decided not to wait to instead signed on American Tremmell Darden as their second import. Ebi Ere then went on to sign with the Melbourne Tigers, which has made the rivalry between the Tigers and the Dragons a whole lot bigger. Ere will add extra strength to the 08/09 Tigers team, with his ability to shoot outside as well as the massive dunk and drive that confuses the defence.
