I HATE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so out of the blue for no reason my last CC statement shows that my interest rate has gone to 30.49%! WTF? I always pay more then the minimum amount due and have never been late on the payment not even once! I call the SOB CC company and first stay on hold for like 10 minutes just to be hung up on when I get through. I call back wait another 15 minutes on hold to get some jack ass with such a thick foreign accent I can barely understand what they are saying. I ask about my rate and inquire of this person how I reduce the rate. He says he has to check and see if there are any "offers" being offered to CC holders. Another 10 minutes on hold. He returns and says they are not offering any interest rate reductions at this time.....WTF? So I ask to speak to a supervisor.....another 10 minutes on hold.......A very nice jackass who I can understand gets on the line and I inquire again about the interest rate.......He says he will be happy to review the offers again just like the first jack ass......another 10 minutes......He returns and tells me that there are currently no offers open to reduce my interest rate. I tell him that I would have no choice but to transfer my balance to another card from a competitor and he says that is certianly my option. What a douche bag! I should have known somthing like this would take place with this particular CC. It is issued from Washington Mutual Bank. If you recall recently they were about to tank and were bought out by JP Morgan. Arggggggghhhhhh I have never been so pissed. These ass holes do this crap and get away with it.....and if it weren't bad enough that they screw you with interest you the tax payer get to bail them out when they can't manage their own private business.........

It was at like 14.XX% APR started out a year ago as a zero percent intro for 6 mo. then went to the 14%. I have decided just to pay it off as quick as possible. I only owe around a grand on it. I need to have a garage sale of sorts any how. Keep your eye on the forsale section. I'm cleaning house. You never know what I might find. LOL

i had something similar happen to me... when i bought my car june '07 i had 7.something fixed interest and when i got my bill for last month my interest had gone up to exactly 10%. i called BofA and they told me that with the situation of the economy they were forced to raise everyone's interest rate and there was nothing they could do about it even though it was a fixed rate loan... grrrrr....

See this is what I am talking about. Makes me madder than hell. Makes you wish they would all go under for shit like that.

Yeah me too. I'm gonna sell some unneeded items and use the capitol to pay off the cards and never feel the hit financially. I am still so mad about this and I'm sure I'm not the only one they have done this to.

We have a BOK Credit card....BOK sold the card to JP Morgan and ever since this is what they have been doing....Crooks I tell you Crooks

Thats interesting as JP Morgan is the one who bought the card company that I had as well. Washington Mutual. Sounds like JP Morgan is the culprit here.

Well Piss on them. You can chalk me up as one who will never ever ever have anything to do with those theives again.

I have 3 different credit cards issued through Chase Bank. I have balances on each, but check the accounts online pretty much daily. I noticed today that they have drastically reduced my credit limit on all three accounts without prior notice - and this is the second time within 6 months they've done so. I believe it's their sneaky way of trying to get me to go over the credit limit on each so they'll have a legal excuse to raise my currently cheap interest rates. I'm just going to pay off each account and go back to cash until the current economic troubles are over for the banks - at which time they'll raise my limits again to entice me to charge more. Word of caution; check the limit on each of your credit cards frequently and don't exceed it - or you'll be in for some nasty fees and interest rate hikes!

Man thats crazy too. What is the matter with these places? Do they not understand that people like you and I will just pay them off and then never use them again because of the way we were treated? I always pay my bill ontime and always pay more then the minimum payment. In otherwords I feel like I am a "good" customer. I guess to them a "good" customer is one that they can milk every month for extra cash to fund their lavish retreats, golden parachutes, and bailouts. BS. It just re affirms to me that these banks have not learned their lesson and will continue to spiral out of control until they reach total failure.

I hear ya David..... Cassie and I have 3 cards that we have not used in almost 9 months. As soon as they raised our percentage rate to 30% without warning AND without a late payment we quit using it and are paying them off when we can....then going to cash

i have a wamu card... currently in 12 month no interest... sounds like I need to get it paid off pretty quick... it will be at 12.99% after the 12 months...but sounds like it will jump as soon as the no interest period ends.......

Beware of WAMU/JP Morgan. You will get screwed for sure.

David i had a little problem with a cc talked to someone and i am going to close it and they will be paid off at 6% by the way i tried to work out a fair rate and they wouldnt talk to me or i wouldnt do this. Also have a discover cc they did give me a better rate if i let them take my payment right out of my checking account so im not closing it

Thanks, It runs pretty well. I'm hoping for 12.40s or better come November. Was really trying to get into the 11's N/A but Without really gutting the car I'm not sure if I can do it. I added the Charge Motion Deletes and custom dyno tunes since the 12.61 last year. Before I was running tunes from Brenspeed. They are really good tunes but the dyno allowed us to smooth out some areas that were just a bit off. My car dynod at 300 at the rear tires

You build cabinets? I do all the outside warranty and repair work for a few furniture stores here in town. Wood repair and touch up as well as upholstery work is my business. Small world....LOL
