Those little plastic pins that are under along the rocker panels
how do you take those off w/o breaking them.

You need either two flat screwdrivers and alot of finnesse.(sp?) or a special tool for removing interior panels looks like a snakes tongue sortov a 'V' shaped flat blade. I've always had them break and you just have to replace them. You can get more at Lowes in the special fasteners area. (small pullout drawer trays near the nuts and bolts)

Yep. Not real fun. They might come out without breaking since your car is relatively new. All you can do is try.

Can't seem to find that same exact plastic fastners,
is there a different one you guys used?

would it be alright to drive my car w/o those fasteners and just those white plastic peices holding it up.

hopefully someone answers that question today, gotta drive my car tomorrow

At Lowes they have some very similar. They may be a bit longer but all you have to do is snip off the end a bit and they will work fine. If you can't find them just space out the good ones that you have left from the originals and it should hold it in place until you can get the ones you are looking for. The ones I have found in Lowes are located in the hardware section in the special fasteners cases. Pull out drawers with various odd special fasteners.

i'd rather drive to owasso with my side skirt sitting in the car than risk the chance of it falling off and driving over it and ruining it. just a word of advice. maybe a zip tie from walmart would be my last resort till you get there if you don't want to take it off. but i wouldn't use then instead of the other things. just until you get them.

oh and of course you can get them at ford parts department, but they'll rape you for pricing

Yes just take it off for now until you find the right clips. You'll loose it.

If you can't find something that works at Lowes... You might also try an autopart store. Advanced, OReily's and AutoZone, normally have a section full of odds and end pieces like that. The brand name is called "Help!".

Also, Ace Hardware stores have a great selection of hard to find fasteners. While I havn't seen these there, I have browsed through their selection and they really have a good selection.

Just take them off Jarrods car and put them on yours and then make him find them. Problem solved.

I think there the same for all years. If you really want to get in deep, you can go to the salvage and pull them off an older mustang. Im sure they are the same. I could be wrong.

probably have the same problem with them breaking. i'd rather just buck up and pay the denero from ford. they usually have them in stock and they really aren't that much. for as much as you've spent in gas driving around looking for them you could've just gone and gotten the actual ones they use.

hehe i got lucky yesterday, decided to call in sick yesterday,
and drive to Joe cooper hoping the skirts wont fall off, they didnt btw

showed em what i needed, and showed me a pin that would cost 32 bucks for 16, I responded with Holy Cow!!! He said he could get me a discount ;)

well wasnt long enough anyways so he found me a pin that was a half inch longer and that worked perfect and i spent like 17 bucks for 16 peices :)
