Re: nice pics
That was the first time David tried skinnies. His times have been as greg said with 18's up front. David also powershifts that beast. That foot only leaves the floor when shifting to 4th. Its crazy to watch, you almost dont even hear a hesitation when he shifts.

Yup....David ran that 12.61 with regular 18s up front....believe me David is an excellent driver and his car is stout. He would consistantly beat you...trust me. I run 12.7-12.8 range consistantly in cool weather...and I have yet to beat David...and we have raced plenty.
With the Skinnies and cooler weather I wouldnt be suprised to see David run in the 12.4 @ 109

Re: nice pics
Yep first time out with skinnies. I will say that after having run them (thanks Doc!) I think I will have to get some. It makes the car more predictable to race. I am shooting for low 12's this fall. Keep your fingers crossed!

Re: nice pics
I believe both of us have been known to have a great reaction time at the tree. Dont get too cocky now. I would say a real sports car wouldnt have an automatic :) hehe I like to drive my car...not the car driving me. (inser evil teasing laugh her) just messin!!!
But again I think David would get you...sorry
But you can always make a trip to Tulsa and prove yourself worthy of such bold statements.
PS Im messing with you...but mostly we go for overall ET and not boast about beating someone off the line. For me and most the other guys I just want to better my 1/4 mile time...dont really care my reaction time or beating the guy next to me.

Re: nice pics
I cant say that i really look at my reaction time anyway. I go to the track to better my best time and a better or worse reation time will not effect the ET at all. If you go there to race reation time, hell i guess you didnt even need to buy a mustang because a mo-ped could beat a top fueler on reaction time if the guy is quick enough. But i think you would get a few laughs from people if you told them that. Just messen with ya

Re: nice pics
I don't really go by weight, I go by atomic mass. I find it a truer measurement.

Re: nice pics
1999-2004 gt curb weight 3200 lbs w/o driver, 1999-2004 Cobra curb weight 3400 lbs w/o driver. 2005-present gt curb weight 3600 lbs w/o driver.
My 99 cobra was at 3600 with me in it when i jumped on the scales and these are a couple hundred pounds more. so im guessing mine weighs about 3780 to 3800 w/ driver (manual tranny)
