Re: The new ride
According to my parts lists, 70-11, 3.73s are all the same part number. So as long as they are an 8.8, it should work.

Re: The new ride
So got everything completely squared away int car last night! Pretty excited about it. Changed a few little parts and hoses here and there and got another set of plugs. ( autolite copper 24 gapped between 33/35 set the timing at 9 degrees and fuel pressure was now at 42lbs and not 85..lol
Jumped on the highway and took it really easy for about five miles, turned around headed back to owasso and got into it and wow what a difference! I could really feel the pull from the boost now and shut it down at 5200 in third. Passenger was seeing 8 full pounds with a six pound pulley. Car runs amazingly different, runs around 140deg from around 170 and no back pop on dereasimg the throttle.
Can't wait to get it on the dyno and see why it has, really hopIng to see the 320-330 mark I think it's got ':-)
I'm putting in a ram stage 2 clutch next week and off to the dyno I go so I'll post the numbers soon enough.
Thanks for all the help guys!

Re: The new ride
Oh I'm not sure if I'll make it over there, I do think I know what I'm making more moist than the pulley rating.. By bov is not working at the moment so I think it's allowing me to boost more??? What are your guys thoughts? I have read that mist don't use them on supercharged engines, any info on this would be great!
Thanks

Re: The new ride
Ok so it seems all problems are finally balanced out and I will be looking to add some new mods soon. I am thinking headers... long tubes or equal shorties? My car is superched for those who don't know and I'm wondering from some reading ive done for the pushrod 5.0 equal lenth headers will give very close if not the same power out put and also be close in torque. What do you guys think from your experience?

Re: The new ride
I would personally do LTs, but there are other places to spend your money. Aside from the blower, what else is done to the car?
Re: The new ride
On the fox cars the place to spend the coin is in the cylinder heads. A good set of heads will give you tons of power.

Re: The new ride
yea lol. he's probably kicking himself at that suggestion since he just put new headgaskets on...
Re: The new ride
Let me know if you want to get rid of those wheels!
I talked to the guy that was selling the car and he said he didn't want to get rid of them.

Agreed... And yes completely sucks not changing the heads when I was putting in the gaskets. I'm not trying to make crazy amounts of power though. Just looking for a lilTtle more. So thinking headers might do the trick.
