to advance auto parts. not sure if yall use them or if they have a store up there. doesnt matter. check them out online. i just bought about 350 worth of crap for the H2 and the K5 spent about 230 after taxes and they are sending me 2 coded for $50 bucks off my next order over 100 bucks. there are a lot of coupon codes floating around online. but if you register with them they send you special offers that are good for a few hours. thats how i got this stuff so cheap. and anything over $75 they ship for free.. might check it out. its saved me prob. close to 50% so far on all the crap i buy from them for the beater

I have bought alot from them with coupon codes over the last year. Sometimes though even with discounts I have found Rockauto.com to come in cheaper if you can wait 1-2 days for shipping. but I agree, advance is great if you shop right and find codes and you can generally go pick the parts up in less than an hour if you buy online.

well i just checked out what i bought against what they sell. it was about a 3 dollar diff. shipping and one part killed it (couldnt find it). but for the most part i can get a lot cheaper stuff thru them. thanks for the heads up

I buy a lot of stuff from Advanced and Rock Auto, Cool thing about advanced is they give you 20% off all online orders which you can pick up at the store if you need it the same day.

That's how my Oreilly guy buys parts most of the time. Orielly parts with his employee discount still can't compete with Advanced Auto's online discounted prices.

Rockauto for the most part has everything. You have to compare to the locals. Some things are cheaper on rock auto, some things are cheaper here.

Jarrod is right on the money. Step 2 seems pretty important as well.
