College Football 2011-2012

So what is everyone's pre-season predictions? Season starts tomorrow, and will all the suspensions/removals going on, it's anyone's guess as to what this season will be like.

Don't want to turn in to a Sooner/Cowboy rivalry, just wondering what everyone is thinking, who the teams are to watch for, and any other predictions for the season.

Predictions for OU-Tulsa? OSU-Louisiana?

Sucks not having cable, can't watch either game. Although last year Xbox Live had an ESPN app that showed college games for free. Need to see if that still works.

OU will blow out Tulsa and OSU will win over LA

Tulsa may put up some points, but their D is suspect. OU wins big.

OSU will hang 50+ on Louisiana, while allowing 17 or less points (only because the 2nd string will be playing most of the 4th quarter).

I would love to see TU be competitive against OU I know its not likely but I would love to see them make it at least a decent game.

Hate to say it Isaac, but TU is in for a depressing loss. OU has too much talent on both sides of the ball.

I know. You have to admit it would be fun for it to be a real game though.

So is Thanksgiving later this year or are we starting the season late? Not very often you see regular season College football go a week in to December.

I think it's a scheduling change due to the change in teams in the "Big12" which really isn't the big 12 anymore but ya?

Exactly. They moved the OSU-OU game to Dec. 3rd because that's when the Big 12 Championship game would have been. And it's very likely that game could BE for the Big 12 title.

I hate it when Tulsa has to play OU or OSU. It's good to have competition but...

As far as the season goes? The first couple of games will tell. OU does seem to be loaded, but will the D show up? Can OSU prosper with people keying on their studs? Bound to be a surprize or two this year.

Ya. OU will get tested in the #2 game against FSU in FL. This will tell me if they came to play for a national title this year or not. If they hand them their ass then the season is on. If not. Then who knows.
