Re: 3V law!!
WOW I honeslty did not realize how IGNORANT the mustang crowd was about our cars. Its absolutley mind blowing how little they know.
The arguements they are putting up are ones you would tell a highschool kid that knows nothing about cars and just agrees with everything you say as if it were fact, beause he knows nothing about cars. Whats funny is its like trying to teach your psysics professor about psysics using Bullshit and Trash talk...I'm laughing at the thought

yeah Vik is just a button pusher... now (P-Rick 63t-bolt) he says he is a mechanic and a ford lover... "who the hell is going to take a mustang to this guy when all he does is talk shit on them?" and how is he a mechanic and know NOTHING about the new mustangs?

Re: 3V law!!
Whats funny is, we are backing up our cars. But they are using the my dad can beat up your dad argument. All they do is talk about the cars they know can beat ours, not the ones sitting in their garage that they drive.
Nice job by the way over there guys. Its nice for Dave, me, Dan and Barrett to not be the only ones defending Mustangs over there for once. Really I was just giving up on the site for anything related to Mustangs.

Re: 3V law!!
Good points. Yep... I find those types of discussions to be pointless. I have nothing to prove. People like that like to argue just to argue.
It's like when ricers come up to you and start talking crap. I love that ones that start out by saying. "I have a friend with a (insert Jap car here) that runs XXX...". I normally cut them off and ask, "What do YOU drive?". Because I know a guy that drives a Mustang that runs 5 sec 1/4 miles all day long. His name is John Force. ;)

Re: 3V law!!
It looks like Mr. Vic over there finally got a clue and stopped chiming in. Paul is right he's a button pusher. Dosen't know crap. Ive been out at the drags an awful lot and never have I seen an LS1 or WS6 powered F-body run in the 12's without major work. Actually I dont think I have ever seen one run a 12 without a power adder, SC or N2O. Even most corvettes that run at TRP never get past the 12 second barrier. Hell does anyone remember that Viper that was running last year. He couldn't post up a time more respectable then the ones we were putting up. Cracks me up to think that there are people so ignorant that they will say anything and then argue the point knowing full well they don't have a leg to stand on. I guess we'll see come the day of the shootout who can put up and who needs to shut up.

Re: 3V law!!
I hope so. I was looking around at the schedule on TRP site and it looked like the mod rod shootout was scheduled to begin at 9:00 pm. If this is the case then yeah. It should bring some respectable times.

Nope. They're predicting bad air for the month of September. Sorry...

Well the thing with the air is that if its bad. Its bad for everyone running. So fair is fair.

Re: 3V law!!
You think we will still break into the 12s consistantly? I know fair is fair but I want to show what these cars are capable of with minimal bolt ons.

Re: 3V law!!
I think so. It wont be as hot as the shelby show. My first run was a high 12 then it dropped off from there from heat soak and worsening air. I think consistant 12s are realistic

Re: 3V law!!
Yep. I want to borrow Docs front runners to see what it'll do. I think I might be able to get the front wheels off the ground. If for some reason one of the guys that have skinnies don't run I hope they will let me borrow a set.

Re: 3V law!!
Now I do have to say something here: The "jap" cars, and other cars making silly-high HP at higher RPM - most of the stuff you'll find on You-tube and the like - are cars that are street-racing; where suspension and tires and hook-up gear aren't the norm/needed. Compltely different than the 1/4 stuff we're talking about here.
A good number of the mustangs from that other site are likely used to running against other non-mustang cars, on the highway, at the 30-40 roll. I wouldn't take lightly some of those cars made to kill on the highway, whose suspension isn't set up for the track.
Most of you guys would be able to beat either of my cars at the dragstrip, with the rubber I roll on.
I'd invite any of you to attempt the same from a roll.
