I need a breaker bar to get my rims off so I can paint the calipers. I just need it a day or two. The sooner the better because my cars on jack stands right now... I promise I'll give it back.

haha I had a friend who couldnt get the lugs off his car to install end-links even with a breaker bar. Had to take it to the shop and have them break it loose with air tools.

Damn I really dont wanna have to do that, I spent like atleast an hour getting it jacked up since I had to raise it with the spare tire jack before I could fit a floor jack under it. Then I had to go side to side slowly raising it since I only had one floor jack. It was just a total pain....
I do have a friend who said he has a air version of a breaker bar so I might be able to use that if I need to.

The trick is to get 2 pieces of 2x4 and put one in front of each of the front tires....drive up on them and walla....you have enough gap to slide the jack under.

Or you could just do this to jack the front end up a bit more. It's how I usually change my oil.

It will take more than you to break the lugs loose if you already have it on jack stands. E-brake might hold the rear but someone else will have to hold the brake pedal for the fronts.
and sometimes that's not enough......Good luck and they torque to between 85-100 ft lbs.

Yup like mike said, you are probably sctewed if its already in the air... always break loose when they are on the ground...

best to go buy a good 4-way lug wrench, if you dont have one that fits your rims, youll be screwed if you ever get a flat...

But I'm just going to wait till this weekend since I'll be out of town and won't really care that my cars outta commission.
