Window stuck Empty Window stuck

Post by carcrazy53 1/11/2011, 6:00 pm

at work people are complaining about the windows sticking up and not letting them in because of the ice not letting the window come down when trying to open the door. Can any thing be done .They are the 2010 model .One got the door open by pulling it passed the seal but could not get it closed .She was hot to say the least.I told her to put some de-icer in her purse for the winter. blowup

De-icer is all i can think of for that, but I hear you can also prevent your lock from freezing by spraying WD-40 on it.

Yeah, it's an issue for sure. Had it happen to me a couple times in my 06. I rubbed some Vaseline on my seal. It seemed to keep it from sticking. Had to clean it later but it got me through the winter precip.
