New Here...
Hey all. I joined last week, but am just now getting the time to make an introduction post...
My name is Lee, I'm 23 and I reside in Owasso. Was always in to imports until I bought my car in 2008, a Silver 2001 Mustang. I work for Baker Hughes in Claremore, have been there almost 4 years, and also own my own automotive parts business on the side (mostly internet sales). Will go in to more detail with that once I secure site sponsorship, don't want to get a negative rep for advertising without paying for it...
As stated, my car is a 2001 Ford Mustang V6. Silver with Charcoal interior. Pretty much stock, has a few things here and there but nothing to make a statement. The general Mach 1 chin spoiler and grille delete and Shorty Antenna are about all I have for exterior. Have White-faced gauges and Billet styling pieces for the interior, and a few performance modifications to help gas mileage and stability.
I have never taken the car to the track, don't plan to for a while since it's my Daily. Not very big on Drag Racing anymore. Been getting in to Road Racing since Mid-America last year, but my buddy's 04 GT is what we are playing with for that.
I am in the process of designing an adapter to make the Eaton M112 Supercharger from my buddy's 03 Cobra work on my engine. Have everything needed to install, just lacking a fuel pump and MAF and we will be good to go. That, and motivation to complete the job.
Here are a few pics of how it was up until 2 weeks ago. Last week, I hydroplaned going down Keetonville Hill on H20 toward Claremore, and hit the guardrail, jacking up the front end. Working out a deal with the body shop to upgrade to a 99 Cobra Front and either a 2" Cowl or a Mach 1 Hood. Still undecided. Also looking for some wheels, 17 or 18", since my tires are bald, which is what caused the accident...
Glad to be here, and hope my stay is more pleasant than it was at Midwest Mustangs...

Re: New Here...
again, thanks for the heads up. If you had caught me 2 years ago I'd be all over that bumper. Just more on the clean look now...
Was going to be installing my Eibach Pro-Kit and Mach 1 Shocks/Struts this weekend, but since the wreck I decided to hold off... Maybe I can get Unique to install them while it's in the shop, who know...

Well a year ago I didnt have a mustang and a week ago I was going to put it on my car, but sold the car!
Car will look great with cobra bumper, I tried finding one of those, but never could.

Re: New Here...
Yea, Cobra bumper will be a nice change. My buddy has one that he found on SVTP for $150 with a small tear at the bottom. We fixed it and had it painted, then he changed his plans for the car (does that monthly). I was planning to buy it, but since the wreck I am just going to let insurance buy it...
Re: New Here...
Welcome Lee. That is a very clean ride. Very clean. Love the color too. I see you're dealing with Bill at Unique. Top notch guy! He fixed mine after it got hit. Did a great job! Mad skillz...
