Gotcha. I'm looking around. Stage3MotorSports told me the 2010 setup is kinda a DIY type deal...no specific kit. He recommended a ProCharger setup. I hate choices... I guess I need to visit the guys over there in Broken Arrow and see what they recommend.

OK I've got the fever bad. I'm eye balling a 2011 GT500. If the numbers work out am I crazy to pass this up? We would still keep our 2010 GT...

Re: Full newbie from Sand Springs
I'm amazed how different this car is from my 2010. The clutch is butter smooth. I do prefer my Roush shifter on the 2010 though. The GT500 shifter is "short" but feels kinda "sloppy".
I was afraid if I bought the '11 500 that I'd never want to drive my 2010 GT again. However I can honestly say I don't see that happening.
Ummm, supercharger. Hell **** yeah!

The supercharger whine is quite addicting. Sounds like a sweet ride

Re: Full newbie from Sand Springs
hey rob theres a car show today if your interested. should be a good one at the aquarium. hope to see you there bud.
on a side note twin screws typically offer greater gains but they come at a price they weigh more and generate alot of heat. also you have to be carefull if your really pushing the engine horsepower wise(our cars will give up the ghost around 550-600 crank hp) thats for the gt only though, its not the block that fails its the rods
on the other hand they give you instant power when you stomp on the gas, no lag no waiting. personally if i ever supercharged my car i would definitely go for the twinscrew. an added plus is they whine and sound bad ass.
and for the gt500, you can gain over 100hp just from a few simple mods,

Re: Full newbie from Sand Springs
Ouch. Well there is another GT running around town that I keep running into. He likes to play with me when I'm in the '10 GT but he doesn't seem quite interested when I come up on him in the Cobra, LOL. Because of traffic I've never really had a chance to "run em" in the '10. I'll catch 'em some day tho!
