carbon fiber hood

well, i pulled the trigger on a carbon fiber hood by seibon. i dont have an estimated shipping date yet.

Since you are going to be on a trip and the hood will be on your front porch I will get a couple of my detail team latinos and we will come and get it and try it out on the bling machine

it was 768 but today when i was looking around it went up to 912. so by the time you get a fiberglass hood and have it painted you would probably spend this much

no paint, it has a gel clear coat, so i will leave it carbon fiber

well i just got home from orlando and still no hood. i will email them again and probably call someone tomorrow and see whats up

Cool purchase on the hood. Once step closer to the Mustang GTR look! I recommend stopping just short of the boy racer wing on the back...

Regarding the hood, Does this have the same treatment as the new Corvette ZR1 coating over the carbon fiber bits? I know there is a problem with yellowing and fading of the carbon fiber with UV radiation... If not, you might want to look into a sunblock of some sort (I'm thinking 303 Aerospace protectant or something) that would prevent a yellowing effect on your badass CF!
