So - do you think the people that bought a car from Nelson Mazda during their "Christmas day snow promotion" will cash in on it? Has to snow 4" or more ON Christmas for them to get s refund; looks like they may miss out by mere hours!

I was thinking about that the last couple days... I think they're going to escape that by hours... The insurance company that underwrote them are at the edge of their seats tonight and monitoring every weather source !

I thought i saw lightning. That was the 1st for me. I'm glad I did some food shopping before the snow came down. Hard enough to drive with the sleet. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !

There roads are damn near impassable. Saw several cars stranded. There are snow drifts in my neighborhood as high as my step bars, which is at least 15 inches or more. Everyone Please be careful. I do not recommend going out unless you have four wheel drive, for now.

Yeah we drove back from my dads and it was crazy. Had to get out and help push three stranded motorist. Be careful and have a safe christmas.

well i just now got back, been pulling every one out that i saw on my
way home from work. dropped my coworker off at his apartment and helped
my other coworker get his ranger home, i left work at 10 its 12:07 now.

made it all the way home in my 2wd pickup just fine then 10 minutes later tried to go back out to help my daughter and son in law and couldnt get off my street had to get pulled back to my house

I saw about 21 cars on my way home from the inlaws at 11th and Garnett and I live at 111th and 145th, its crazy!

But seriously, if you drive a PT cruiser why the hell are you out???? I almost dont want to help people sometimes. And the city of Broken Arrow has backhoes out pushing people! Crazy night

stood on the porch about 20 min ago because I heard a car out front... so I stood and watched a guy repeatedly spin his tires in his berreta and slide into the curb... back up two feet and floor it to redline and slide right back into the curb.. over and over and over and over and over and over and over... finally when he had no tread left and half the neighborhood was standing on their porches watching (no nobody helped.. it was too much fun to see if he was going to blow his engine) he creeped down the street redlined the whole way and turned the corner... and got stuck again!... and I hear him flooring it over and over and over and over... talked to the neighbor that was outside watching him from the beginning... he said this 16 yr old kid from down the street was clowning around with the e-brake and thats what started it

Had to drive in it last night from about 5:30-6:20 from my house in Catoosa to my brothers. We were forced to take both my car and beths because we didn't have enough seat belts, and of course I got hit from behind by a Chrysler at the off ramp at Yale and I-244. Boogered my rear bumper and bent my passenger rear flowmaster pretty good. Everyone was ok. The lady said she couldn't see due to her wiper blades being frozen. To make matters worse they were from KS so now I have to deal with an out of state insurance company. Other than that the stang actually made it there and home again around 10:00 pm in the worst of it. Had a couple close calls but managed. Ugh.

That sucks.

Just got the drive way shoveled. Starting to dry out. My neighborhood is a mess, 2-3 ft snow drifts, melting snow, water, ugh. Pretty damn happy with the truck though it goes through this stuff no problem.

Sorry to hear about the accident, David! Wouldn't an impact like that transfer energy all the way up the exhaust system into the headers as well? Thereby necessitating new long tubes; x-pipe; and Flowmaster system all the way back?

That sucks David-O! Glad no one was hurt. Cox may be on to something there... I bet the force for the hit transfered the energy from the muffler through the exhaust and manifold... probably cracked the block!

That sucks you were hit, Im surprised I wasnt hit last night with all the crazy people out. I got home and couldnt even let my dog in the backyard.....damn snow drifts! But I do love the snow, its fun to drive in

Yep as soon as we thaw out I'll be checking everything real well. The snow is great but a real pita without a proper vehicle to get around in it.

went outside this morning to try and get my car out and couldnt cause of this...and to top it off i found a nail in my tire!

Ouch. That sucks. We are going to be a while thawing out of this one.

Went to the airport from sapulpa yesterday.No problems,ran chains on front wheel drive.Need to go back tomorrow.Does it look like i can take the chains off.Will run creek to 169 to 244.

Wow Tulsa got bombed! I have been out of town since it snowed so I appreciate all the pictures. Was planning on driving home tomorrow, howare the road conditions there?

Roads are slightly improving. The main roads are still slushy and icy in spots. Most roads have one lane of travel East side got it worse than west side. 169 is two lanes, one clear and one slush. exit ramps are ice. 244 is snow packed slush most of the way across town, pretty clean by the airport. Creek turnpike is ice all the way with one lane of travel.

The most difficult part of travel is the neighborhoods and entrances. Snow is 2-3ft high where the plows have pushed it over. You can only get through if you have a lot of ground clearance and 4 wheel drive.

The creek out by Jerry and I looks like they forgot it was there! Every mile is different, its just crazy.... some are completely clear, others feel like your going down a terrible gravel road
