Valve covers are back!
well steve called me this morning said the valve covers were done. he sounded disappointed, said there had been a problem during the engraving process, told me to come look at them he said if i wanted them he'd cut the price by 2/3rds. if not he'd have them redone. well i get there and this is what i find!
come to find out Steves not only a car enthusiast he's a perfectionist. i couldn't find out why he was disappointed i had to get their design artist to show me what was wrong with them, theres a place where the laser glitched and went off track but its soo small i could barely AND I MEAN BARELY see it. as far as im concerned theyr perfect and they turned out better then i could have hoped for. chalk one up for laser en-ovations and fabrication! they'll be seeing more of my money soon!

Those look awesome!!! Good thing you have a designer friend to help you with that (wink, wink), he did a good job with my template. Guess you're gonna make me work now?

Ahhhh, shucks!
I knew they would be awesome, when we first started this project. They needed more than just powder coating.

Re: Valve covers are back!
This guy hopes to have a car nice enough and enough money to actually do those kinds of things some day!!! Maybe he can do my valve(yes 1) on my Cherokee???
By the way, I can totally spot the flaw......................ok maybe not!
Looks sweet!

its black wrinkle
if you do a custom engraved design its about 150(design time plus 50 per cover) plus whatever powder coating is, some what pricey but you get a custom one off piece. they charge for design time as they have to built the design so the laser engraver can understand what it is suppose to do. it was 45 for me to get them powder coated(had it done at ba powder coating. i however could have had them done at L.E.F.) i dont know what they charge but it prolly isnt much. all in all this project cost me 150 dollars.
if any ones interested in doing a set like mine or a custom set contact steve hash at 918-261-6671 tell him jared sent you

seriously these are nice. When and if I get my GT500 I think somthing done like that somewhere under hood would be sweet. Wonder if you could do somthing similar with the 4V cam covers? Hmmmmmm

Re: Valve covers are back!
Jared needs to post up picts, we installed them yesterday. Broke my Mickey Mouse watch, cut open my finger on the block, so that makes it official . . . something got broke and blood was shed.
They look fantastic, if I do say so myself.
And Jared got a new sexy toolbox for christmas
