Pastor Billy Joe Daugherty passed away this morning

Thoughts and prayers go out to the Daugherty family. Pastor Daugherty was a great man. If you ever had the pleasure of knowing him you know what I'm talking about. Of all the big church pastors I have listened to and met over the years, Billy Joe was one of the most genuine. He will be missed.

thats too bad. obviously a great man and true to every virtue to be able to literally turn the other cheek. i can remember when i saw that nut attack him on TV and he was talking about how people needed to pray for him.

I believe that religion is just business. However, to get it to the level he took it, you truly have to believe and practice what you preach. He had a strong faith and to many he will be missed. RIP
