Replica wheels?
As you mave have seen in my introduction, I am sporting some lovely wheels from a different generation mustang, and quite frankly it looks rediculous! As I have been on many different forums over the years, I always come accross the OE replica wheels on ebay. Now every different person on every different forum has had an opinion on these knock offs, but no definitive answer..... Are they credible? road worthy? does anyone have any experience first hand with them....
I would love to lock down some wheels quickly, so any help would be great!
here are a few that I see

these guys sell what i would call reasonable wheel and tire combos. i know a few guys that have these brand of wheels and they are holding up pretty dang good. not sure about your money situation, but these would be easy to get into quickly like you mentioned.

Chris
From my experience the replica wheels are a great option to have a good looking rim at an affordable price. The only downside to some aftermarket companys is the finish on the wheel sometimes cracking or peeling off after some road use...and they tend to he heavier than OEM.
I love the Cobra wheels in the second link you posted. Id love to see a cobra rear spoiler on your ride, some lowering springs, and some sweet rims. Car would POP.
All it takes is money.....which sucks hehe
Here is what im talking about....looks awesome

Re: Replica wheels?
Well I picked these up today! Pretty excited, just ordered tires so it will probably be next weekend before I get them all on. They are 18x9 polished cobra replicas, picked them up at a shady place in Dallas today! Dont know where or who makes them, but they were cheap...

Re: Replica wheels?
Well part 2 has arrived!!! Hopefully get them all installed thursday when I get back in town. Its going to be a big change from the narrow 05 wheels that are on there!!!

Re: Replica wheels?
BE patient!!! I work out of town during the week....
Apparently the car already has lowering springs on it, Jerry and I figured it did since it has aftermarket camber plates, but it was hard to tell with the 05-up wheels on it.
Probably be Thursday night when I get pictures up
