New Rims?
Hey guys think I am going to look into getting some 18's and get out of the 20's on the mustang. I am thinking about the FR 500's in chrome or maybe black. Just thought I would get some opinions from the club. Want to go 18x9 in front and 18x10 in back.

Re: New Rims?
Im wondering if the red would throw off the look of the black chrome. I have been thinking about and i think the black chrome would look pretty sharp.

Re: New Rims?
Don't worry about me - the way I look at it, I'm not missing getting new black chrome wheels; I'm saving the additional $4K the new artwork would cost me.

Re: New Rims?
Your still missing it David, they are safety wheels. Thats why we have all upgraded from our original wheels and tires, they are "safer". Think she will buy into it??

Re: New Rims?
I think the black chrome would be bad ass. that is the way to go. It will still give the cleaned polished look without being overly blingy like chrome. the black chrome will fade in to the car. I say go with black chrome.

Re: New Rims?
If you go to the 18's though we will have to get you some springs and get it lowered. Might consider 19's since that is what they are going to on the new mustangs. It will take a little bit, but there will be a lot more 19'
inch tires available now that the manufacturer has gone with them.

Re: New Rims?
Right now all I have are my 255/40R20 and 275/40R 20. Would like to get the FR500 with 275/40 18 (18x10 wheel) on back and 255/45 18 (18x9 wheel) on the front all in one package if I can. I will do some looking.
