Any tech days scheduled soon? I still have that line lock to put on so I can go to the drags. Anyone up for an evening install this week?

Ya. The instal isn't hard but it does take time. It would be hard to do in the evening.

I guess we need to do tech day soon.

:) Yeah, yeah :P

Oh, and I'm definitely keeping the '06, at least until I make a deal for a GT500.

It's just TOO comfortable and docile; an excellent daily driver. The '93 is much more, umm, animalistic :)

By the way, if anyone comes across any '03-'04 Cobra front seats for less than $600, let me know. These Corbeaus HAVE to go!

Heh, with you (or at least with Jarrod around) - do we ever really know?!

Oh, by the way, does anyone have 2 17" rims they want to sell cheap or loan, that will fit some 275/40R/17 Mickey Thompson ET Streets (made in the 45th week of 2007?) :) I only got one set of wheels, but two sets of rear tires, for the '93. I want to see how it launches on the MT's, but don't want to drive it to the track on them. If none for sale, any ideas for a good (and relatively inexpensive) pair of wheels for this application?

Heffey, want to part-out that set of rims? I only need 2. I guess i'd buy all 4 if you were making a good deal. I'd rob from my '06, but they're the polished 18's, and will remain for awhile, until the rubber is gone.

Are the factory 17's that came on the '05+ wide enough for 275's? I bet they are, but what size are the 17's? 17x8? 17x8.5? Will 275 worth of meat (and they're fat meats, I was thinking wider than 275 when I saw them) fit?

This will honestly be my first foray into the world of soft-compound drag-radials. These things are like pencil-eraser soft - MADE to hook, I guess. Scary to drive on except for 1/4 mile at a time.

When is the club (or a bunch of you knob-knockers) getting together at the strip again? I'd like to have some help pointing out my drag-racing shortcomings from some peeps I know, to help correct the problems.

Yes I have 2 rims to sell. They are 17X8 and will fit a 275 no problem. They are $70 per rim. Interested?

Will the '05+ wheels fit ok on my '93? I'm not sure about the offsets, as I don't know 100% for sure which axles were used. I know they're Mosier 31-spline axles, but not sure which size were used (I'll have to call him for that bit of info).

Will the '05+ wheels normally fit on '94-'04 mustangs without any problems? Does putting '05+ offset wheels generally set the wheels INWARD or OUTWARD from the wheelwell? I know I've seen people put wheels designed for '94-'04 cars on the '05+'s, and it generally makes the wheels stick out a bit - so I'd guess going from '05 to older would set it in a bit. Do ya'll agree? Do you think they'll work ok?

If so, mark me down as SOLD for 2 of those 17's, Jeff.

The 05+ wheels on an SN95 put them 13mm inward from the stock BS or a little over 1/2 inch. I assume they might still work on the fox. I put some bullitts on the 98 I had from an 06 and they didn't look bad.

Inward is the way I'd want to go, as the MT's are very wide.

I don't really care about the 'looks' for the strip. I just want them to mount without rubbing badly.

Heck, it's worth a shot. At worst, if it brings them inward as I expected, I can use some spacers to place them out a bit more.

Jeff - 2 17's for my rear set-up - SOLD. crazy
