cs56 18x9.5 max tire size

so i've decided i want to go to some new rims but i want to fit 275s, will 18x9.5's be wide enough to fit these tires? george has me hooked on getting nitto nt-05's

You can put a 275 or 285 easy. I have seen 305's on 9.5 inch rims but those are mostly drag radials.

How wide are your front tires?
If you running 9.5" wide rim on the front and rear you will be fine with 275s all around.
If you running 9.5" wide rim on the front and rear you will be fine with 275s all around.

You should be able to up front but I am not 100%.

......9.5 is the only width the cs56 is offered in.....

Why not go with a smaller tire up front? Less weight...better straight line performance

well i want to be able to rotate them for longer life.... on the other hand i want it for the track, i may use some nitto 555's on them.
would it be better to use 255/275 stagger fitment for best circuit performance or would all round 275 be best? GEORGE!!!!!!!! wheres our circuit guru!!!!!!!!!!

I think George was saying he was going the same tire size all the way around. I guess for more grip at Hallett.

You sure those will fit without rubbing George? I put my 285 on my front since I am waiting on that tire still, it looks goofy as hell with a 285 on front.

Russell runs 295's fr and 305's rear and drives it around.

I run 275s on the front and the wider tire up front looks mean as hell IMO.

Jared...I run 295's on 20x9's with no issues. Honestly, you could even run 305's on a 9.5 if you really wanted to...although that is cutting it a little tight. 285 would be a perfect fit. You can see how the 295's look on a 9" in the pic below...the pic quality is bad from zooming in on the wheel but you can get the idea.

im gonna run 285's all round for now, i may up it to 285 front and 305 back when it comes time for another new set. i really liek the idea of 295's but im going to wait till i get my rims then i'll decide on tires

on second thought...i can get the nitto 555 295/40/zr18 for 183 bucks.... i might go staggered fitment. with the power im putting down would going wider on the rear help me at hallet?
