Iphone OS 3.0 Update

Anyone else been anxiously awaiting the update?

My Iphone has been plugged into Itunes all morning waiting for the update.

Hopefully I'll get it right away incase it crashes their servers.

What if your Jailbroke...what happens when I update my Iphone. I have 2.2.1 right now?

You'll need to revert back, download the 3.0 and then wait until they develop (if they haven't already) a hack for jailbreaking the 3.0.

How do I revert back?

You just update through your itunes.

Plug it into Itunes and click the "Restore" button. Make sure all your previous contacts and apps and everything was updated recently so you can keep all that stuff.

I'm on a family plan and somehow my dads, my brother, and my bill is only like $120/month. My dad and I have the Iphone but my brother doesn't.

It is like 1,700+ anytime minutes, roll-over minutes, free nights (starts at 7pm) and weekends, unlimited mobile-mobile, unlimited text for everyone and unlimited internet for everyone.

I have unlimited everything. I pay $0.

We have had it for awhile. My mom told me but I'll check, I couldn't believe it either. I thought mine, by myself was at least $69/month and she said, "No way. Yours, your dads, and Hunters together is around $120."

She also said we only pay an extra $20/month for the data plan for everyone which includes: Unlimited text and Unlimited Internet.

So is this iPhone 3G S really the schnizzle? We're on Sprint, but my wife keeps saying she wants an iPhone. I could get an 8% discount thru my employer if I were to sign up with AT&T, but I don't see the need in incurring the expenses thru another carrier. (We have a really good sharing plan currently with Sprint.) I do need to get her a new phone, but what can the new iPhone do that perhaps the new Palm Pre (thru Sprint) couldn't? Plus, I've heard AT&T's coverage isn't the best - any comments on that?

Never had any problems with coverage at all. And you're just not cool unless you have an iphone. Take Jarrod for example. He was at a -238 on the coolness scale. Once he got his iphone he was bumped to -154. Still in negative territory, but a nice gain none the less.
