helmets?
any one know a good place in town to find a dot 05 helmet, i need to get one before he shelby meet. i may end up borrowing one from keith if i can't get ahold of one, i have looked around and theyr wicked expensive. im looking for a full face helmet, i dont need hose inputs for it or anything fancy. i've veen looking at pyrotechs specificaly, any place in town that carrys them?

I got my full face Bell at Grand Prix in Tulsa, and it was very expensive. You might do better online, but you need to hurry.

yea, what jarrod said!!! the 1's at wally are dot approved, but yes you guys are welcome to go spend 300 on a helmet, i think i'll put my extra 220 in go fast mods and make my 80.00 dollar helmet faster than your 300.00 helmet but thats just how jarrod and i roll...

You will probably get away with a motorcycle helmet at Hallett if you run novice class, but if they check your helmet and decide to stick to the rules, are you going to be happy when they won't let you run? I keep the motorcycle helmet for riders, but for me, SA 05 all the way baby!

well for some on here brain injury may not be possible. but there is a reason for making helmets for different applications. one thing about having the wrong helmet you prob be more worried about finding the right crayon than helmet.
