Tips for Jerbear on Married Life
The best way to remember your wife's birthday..... is to forget it once
Re: Tips for Jerbear on Married Life
When she sends you to the couch to sleep act upset but in all reality sleeping on the couch is like camping for guys, we dont mind it.

Re: Tips for Jerbear on Married Life
remember...probably too late to say this but oh well
No one ever regrets waiting, but everyone regrets rushing.
and if you say "what about the one that got away"
well if they love you enough they'll wait
^thats what the bf told me, makes sense

Nothing wrong with waiting. I did. I tell people I skipped the first marriage and went straight to the second! (Married at 36.)

I think that living in both sides of a duplex with no ajoining doors might help.

After (almost) 30 years of marriage , I can sum it up this way: You can either be right or happy.

I'm not too sure about advice on marraige, but if you never have kids or a divorce, you stand a good chance of having money someday....

Re: Tips for Jerbear on Married Life
I actually should have some good advice about staying married considering that next week I will have been in a state of wedded bliss for 32 yrs. Maybe it is because I stay drunk?

Re: Tips for Jerbear on Married Life
We'll be "celebrating" our 20th this summer, so I'm just months away from being qualified to give free marriage advice
Sooooo...........go back and read chapter 7 of 1st Corinthians, then chapter 5 of Ephesians (okay read the whole letter...) and then think long and hard about this again. You willing to die for her?
Paul's idea about celibacy isn't all that crazy after all!!!!!!!!!!
And remember, divorce is NEVER an option. Murder, yes; divorce, NO

Re: Tips for Jerbear on Married Life
marriage is like a slurpy. you take the first taste and it's so good that you keep taking another till it gives you a frozen headache. after a while though you forget about it and start drinking again and there it is....that darn brain freeze headache.
