New Shoes! have a look...
well i finally got em yesterday. saved money on shipping by meeting the guy in McAlester. 19'' Saleen Heritage chromes with Saleen centercaps and Pirelli tires. 9'' in the front and 10.5'' in the back. im gonna try to get some good pics soon. heres one i got with my phone. i also acquired the Heritage hockey stripe and 281 badges (may or may not use. cant decide if putting "Heritage 281" would be misbadging or not).
Re: New Shoes! have a look...
Looks good besides that paint color. Oh I am just playing, looks real nice, get some better pics so we can really see what it looks like.

i cant get my dang rear window louvers to stick to the dang window....i cleaned the window with rubbing alcohol so the 3m tape will stick better

Re: New Shoes! have a look...
i thought the MRT louvers like yours had a C-clip like mine that slid under the edges of the rear window to anchor them. do you just basically have 4 points on the window where the tape goes or something? if you could post some pics i could probably get a better grasp of what youre dealing with...
Re: New Shoes! have a look...
They are the ones that have have clips that slide under the window,
2 on the top, 2 on the sides and 2 on the bottom. its those bottom clips that just dont stay very well....it will stick to the window nicely when its warm outside. but as soon as it rains, they pop up. like this morning it pissed poured rain for probably 15 mins an they came up.
...sigh :(

Re: New Shoes! have a look...
can you remove the louvers and just let the clips stay there? i adhered my clips, pressed them down and left the car in the sun for a couple of ours WITHOUT the weight of the louvers on the car. that way the tape has time to cure without the weight pulling on them. heck, you might even let them sit overnight to make sure.
Re: New Shoes! have a look...
also, make sure you dont use the THICK 3M tape. you want them as flush as you can get them.
Re: New Shoes! have a look...
yeah i can pull the louvers out with the clips in,
The thing is is that the louver isnt flush with the window and it puts pressure on the bottom 2 clips, pushing them up from the window
i'll retape them and leave them on for a long time.

Re: New Shoes! have a look...
i'm not familiar with the pro kit? could u tell me more?
and if its just springs do u have drivability issues from lowering it?
did it cause your tires to wear wrong or anything like that?

Eibach Pro-kit
http://www.stage3motorsports.com/product/E35101140/200509_Mustang_GT_Eibach_Pro_Kit_Lowering_Springs__Clearance.html
the price is about the same anywhere you go. free shipping is a plus if you can get that (the above link says free shipping in the ad). no real drivability issues. no noticable ride quality loss. tires arent worn weird or anything. they say with just a spring change, you dont have to get the car aligned afterward. next step lower is the "sportlines" but thats a little too low for everyday driving if you ask me.
