Hit and run.
I just found out today that some one hit my mustang on the rear bumper. i just notice it today. It might have been there for 2 days. I didn't notice it Monday evening, Tuesday it was raining like crazy and when i got to work on Wednesday i saw my bumper damage. I am thinking it might have been the contractors working on the building were i live. so many pick up truck, trailers and Mexicans coming in and out there. I'm so pist off. at least the 1/4 fenders are ok. might need a new rear bumper and some slight pulling of the rear panel just to close the truck all the way.

Re: Hit and run.
Are there security cameras at your complex, Hector? If so, check with management to see if they'll let you review the tapes - maybe you'll get lucky and identify the loser that hit you. I had a boo-boo on my rear bumper; I removed the bumper cover and took it to Performance Collision on Mingo - they repaired it, repainted it, and clear coated the whole cover for around $275.00.

Re: Hit and run.
i like to get the California Special bumper if the insurance covers it. also i need to see what damage is underneath. The trunk is popped up also. I even see a crease in the trunk molding that wasn't there before. must have been hit hard cause the long plastic pins that secures the plastic covering inside of the truck has popped out. WOW.

Re: Hit and run.
Thats the problem with making everything out of plastic and making it absorb the impact. Even the smallest impacts cause a lot of damage.
Hector I'm bettin it even damaged the front bumper too. You should have the insurance pay for a gt500 front clip too.

Re: Hit and run.
You should be able to have it repaired alot cheaper than 275.Mineral grey paint is rare, about 200 bucks a pint. Have accent look at it.They did a good job on my ME TOO color.(about .50 cents a gallon)

Re: Hit and run.
LMAO !!! yah crazy.
I talked to the insurance and it's in the works now. My insurance will cover most of it. I have a $300 deductible. A claims guy from my insurance company (USAA) will be out next week to look at the dammage and do an estimate on the damage and for the time it will take to fix it. I'm going to take it to Accent since they are cool with BMMC. Going to throw some extra cash in to get the California Special bumper and get a few other stuff painted Yellow. Still... this is money i could have used some were else.
