Well my mother gave me her old 1993 explorer. Needs a lot of work, but runs pretty good. It has an oil leak that I need to fix first, seems to be leaking out of the valve covers, but if anyone has dealt with this any help is greatly appreciated. Probably will need a lot of help since I am going to use this not just as a daily driver but also to learn about working on cars. Since I was not entirely grown up on it, will be a learning process but fun.

Cool. I had a 91 Sport (2 door). Drove the hell out of it. Tell us more.... 2x4 or 4x4. All 93's had the one engine... the 4.0 litler V6.

you can beat the crap out of those early 90s rangers and explorers. i had a 91 ranger and drove the wheels off of it. the only problem i ever had was replacing a water pump.

"It's a beaut Clark!!"

I miss my 92. 2 door sport with a 5 speed. Put 168,000 on it before I got rid of it and never had a problem with it.
