Did not destroy the car, myself or anyone else....getting on the gas coming out of a turn in the rain not fun ! Overall what a show and blast.

Onward to the drags.....

My shinney car is not exactley shinning.

Would also like to thank Lance and Jarrod for having the guts to ride with me and they also had no physical damage from their experience, don't know about mental, only time will tell.

Great time today! Had a blast! Congrats Bob. you did great!

My last lap was nutz. Ran with the BIG BOYS. Did good but ran out of brakes after the 6-7th lap. Also had a car spin out right in front of me... Tracey loved that. Jarrod caught it all on tape... I'll up load later. Gotta get the slicks on first...

Had a Blast guys!! BOB and PAUL thanks for letting me experience road racing!! That was an addrenaline rush! Bob your supercharger whine is addictive!! That car is a well balanced piece of machinery. And Paul your crazy for running with the big boys for so long... I bet when you were braking Fire was spilling out of the rotors hehe. Overall I had a blast. Im trying to get all the pics off the IPHONE and posted...they turned out not bad for a camera phone. I posted them in another thread.

No luck for me registering yet. Went down to Marriot thursday when the boss gave me a 1 1/2 hour window to see if I can get this registration done. Well they were closed when I was there so no luck so far. I have one more chance to register but it looks iffy at the drags tomorrow. And I read they frown on trying to register sunday morning so I may be out of luck this year. They are suppose to have a registration booth set up there but I'm not sure I can 'work' a deal at work to stop buy there in time to register so I may be out for this year. This hectic work schedule is just killing me. I need sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great time at Hallett. Bob and Paul the two rain sissies driving full tilt in the rain was a sight to see. Good job guys I know it must have been tough to do. Cant wait to see that video Paul. Im all ready for the drag strip! Lets play.

What a great day, trashing my car....destroyed the few remaining brain cells I have left and it took three showers before I was able to remove my clothes off my over heated flesh, but the most fun was when Paul or David would yell out "get in line there moving" or "hurry lets be first", we would all close the hoods, attach the hood pins, put on helmets and move the cars three feet and then wait another four hours. We need a plan.

hello, what time are we meeting in the am?

Not sure. The Boardies have to be there at 7:00am to set up our booth. I would say that the rest of the club members that are showing should meet on the west side of the hotel at around 8:00am and drive in together so that you can park together in the show area. Last year we met over on the west entrance to the hotel.

So do we get to park close to our booth, or just wherevever they park us when we arrive?

Supposedly we have worked it out that if you tell them you are with Bold Moves you can park close to our booth in the Bob Hurley space. This is the word I received about 10 minutes ago from Paul who spoke with the head car show guy at the banquet. With any luck this will happen as planned.

Talked with the people last night. We have our spots all picked out . We're parking by the BHF booth. Show up at 8am. Tell them you're with BHF/BMMC.

Board member will be there and already setup ...

Well, it's all about consistency right? That truck paid its weight this weekend. Best purchase I've ever made.

Ok Well the time is here again to get geared up for the events of the Shelby show. I signed up today, Im doing two cars in the show, Sunday and I'll be drag racing on Saturday. I know Paul you wanted me to do hallett but I just have too much on my plate to try that one this year. Car wouldn't be ready. Anyhow get signed up people. I expect everyone to go this year.

I'm doing Hallett on Friday, Drags and Show. Oh and the Brookside Cruise.

Ok.. Here is what I am doing.

Brookside Cruise (this should be a great recruiting tool for us)
Hallett (going not racing, what day is everyone going?)
Drags (racing)
Car show (participating)

WTH?!? Jarrod told me to wait... If I pay for my stuff now.... is there assigned spaces? I want to make sure I get with the club....

No need to wait. Just pick the events that you want to do and we'll figure out the day of the show. Were nit sure yet as to how much space we may have but fear not we'll figure it out.

I'm doing the package pick up on Wednesday, The cruise in on Thursday, Hallett as a spectator on Fri, Drag races as a participant on Sat, and car show as a participant along with Andrews car on Sunday. Whew that makes me tired just thinking about it.
