1st TRP midnight drags

Anybody here plan on going? They have reshcheduled it for next saturday, April 11th.

I usually only go to a few a year, I prefer going to test n tune. But, I might head out there for the 1st one. The whole no timeslip at the midnights is kind of a downer if you ask me. Plus, they usually push the street tire/drag radial guys outside of the groove with the cones.

i dont agree with the cone deal either, the problem with the cone is there are 2 or 3 eight second cars out there and they are saving the groove for them. with that being said, they need to tech alot better, you know for the 4x4's that come up there after the mud drags! weed out the junk and the crusty cars, and get rid of the cones. the cones dont really do much anyway. and the no clocks is only for the first half then they turn on the clocks, but still no time slips.

I prefer TNT. Better track conditions (for the most part) and weeds out some of the ricers and such. It is nice to go out and see what the car can do in a safe environment. Really want to get it on the road course too!

Midnights arent really that fun for me...Id rather go to the test N tune and avoid all the young idiots that go to the midnights to start trouble.

I hope to make it to the midnights if I can. I want to see what I can pull with the new tires.

I did great! I got new pads and rotors put on all four corners and didn't even have to whoop anybody!!

Dont like the midnights to much. I will go to the night of fire though. I like the TNT. Dont want to run the car and take a chance if im not even going to get a timeslip. You know what i mean?

Can't help ya with teh 3 valve thing! But I think I could find a 2 valve for ya! As of right now, yes I will be there! But there is still a couple of days to go!

Tim i sure hope it's a hell of alot faster then high 11's because that won't get it done my friend... LOL, u need to come on out Tuesday to the Fudruckers deal, it looks like it's going to be a good showing!

Will debate racing though. With as much money as its going to take for the wedding and house...dont know if I can afford to break anything at this point. Shes my daily driver and after Cassie Totaled her Jeep a few weeks ago....its now both our daily driver.

So if it breaks...ummm well....hehe we are screwed.

I might make it. It all depends if the wife will let go of my balls for the night. I am going to the OU spring game and playing some golf so dont know yet.
