12.0 and 13.5 index money races at TRP May 9th!

Has anyone else heard about or seen this on the TRP website? I will probably be entering it. Just don't know which class to enter. Use the and run the 12.0 class or just run on motor and get in the 13.50 class. Hmmm, decisions decisions! The way I see it, if your going to spend $20 to race at the midnights anyway, why not fork up the extra $15 for a chance to win some money.

13.50 index, damn dein you could almost make that with your new tune and parts.

Also, if you pre-register now, it will only cost you $30 to enter the race.

That could be fun, that is my birthday weekend.

Yeah it should be alot of fun! He setup the rules the way he did to try and keep some of the regular bracket guys from getting in it. They're wanting some new faces to enter and win.

Problem is I don't think I can run that quick without drag radials. Maybe if I put the skinnies on the front and ran the street tires in the rear, IDK. Might try that next time I make it out to tnt.

Thats just for the 13.5 class, 12.0 class can run DR's and slicks from what I am reading.

I will try to make it for support but the cage thing puts me out. I would run the 13.50 class with street meats and traction control on

For one Greg, I just screw around with Dein just like he screws around with me and my car. If you ever would check out the svt vs ls1 thread you would understand this! I take my car to the dyno just to see if the a/f ratio is good and now its a dyno queen, lol, get real, just getting my stuff in order and prepared. You need to take half the shit Dein and myself say and figure out it is just fun and games, so quit getting your panties in a twist ok! In all honesty I hope Dein gets his car running alot better cause I know it has some potential in it.

Also, never once did I say I would run 10's or my goals where 10's, I would just be happy to break in the 11's with what I got. You should hits 10's easy with what you got, have a nice day!

I cannot tell from that but is it bracket racing with dial ins or just a 13.50 heads up style event? I am thinking about doing it but without some mods I wont be hitting 13.50's especially on street tires..

index 13.50 heads up 4 tenths tree, dont break out. 13.50 is the number you want to run.

Thought I would bring this up since it is getting closer. Anyone actually going to get in this? I decided to run the 12.0 class and just have some fun with it! I believe it is $35 entry. $10 to get in to watch!

Finals week

Interesting evening at trp last night. Only 12 cars were in the 12.0 index class and I think 18 in the 13.5 index. Josh ran in the 13.5 class and did pretty well. I think he made it into the quarterfinals.

I did not fair so well. I won the first round and had to race a 5.7l GTO. Well, lets just say the track was hooking good! Not sure what all is broke yet, but the drivers side axle is for sure broke. Looks like I'll be upgrading to 31 spline axles/differential now!!!

LOL Good Job Tim... I made it to the semi's but should have jst left my car alone as it was much more consistent with the 28's on there... Oh well hopefully your car will be back toegther soona nd ready for the next 12.0...
