SNOW?

We are getting a few flakes here.....you guys seeing any?

few flakes, shit I got like 2 inches or more here.

about 4 inches here at the apartment. roads are shitty and no one seems to understand that you cannot stop in the same distance as if you were on dry roads.

I have food, booze and electricity. I'm hunkerin' down!

We have about 4-5 inches here.

I was up early studying at Borders (81st and Yale) then when I came out everything was covered.

Thank god for 4 wheel drive.

lol i was at work i couldnt see the runway from our front door. and its only about 100 feet away!

It started snowing in BA at 9am and hasn't stopped. Looks like it's tapering off now tough. I'd say 7+ total inches some has obviously melted already. At only point the flakes were sticking together and were the size of half dollars. Pretty.

I did my taxes and got drunk in the process. At least it's done now.

My cable TV, internet, and phone have been out most of the day. (I'm connected to internet via my Sprint phone right now.) At least we have electricity. I'll be pretty PO'd if TV is still out tomorrow afternoon and I don't get to see OU win another one and make it to the Final Four. (And that applies to both their men's and women's teams!)

6-8 inches here its been snowing like Jerbears and Jussybussies all day. Enjoy while you can it will all melt tomorrow.

If you do not get your service connected, give me a call. I will certainly be glued to the TV for those games.

News said in the Tulsa area we got 8-10 inches.

A week into Spring and we got that much snow. That is crazy.

I wouldn't doubt it. It was melting while it was falling so it hard to tell exactly how much we actually got. If the ground wasn't so warm it would have been pretty bad.

8.5" of snow here.

got a about over 4" of snow. drove to the movies and ran into Casi n her hubby at Applebees. Was ok to drive in just take it easy when coming up to stops and fresh snow. The chin spoiler on the car acted like a snow plow.

Casi and her husband were out there eating also. i only live like 1/2 a block away from Applebees on 41st .

I got stuck twice...
and when I say stuck I mean off the road in the center median and then about 30 min later in the ditch by my bro's house...

Cassie and I ended up hitting some black Ice on the BA Expressway....rearend kicked out and the car was sent sliding into the Highway divider. We are alright...just a little sore and banged up.

Driverside rear wheel was sheered off at the axle from the impact....not too much cosmetic damage. Will have to wait for the adjusters assessment.

Right after we wrecked a Jeep Wrangler spun into a Snow Plow truck then drove off...which caused a ford explorer to start spinning behind him and went sliding down off the highway about 50 ft.

3 police cars came ....2 parked directly behind our car in an effort to warn oncomming cars. 5 min later a small toyota scion went sliding right into the rear of one of the police cars destroying the rear end....driver was injured and 2 ambulances were dispached.

Found out that the snow plow guy instead of salting the bridge was there to get his Tulsa City worker truck out of the same ditch the explorer was in. City worked said wow your like the 7th person to spin out here...but the first to hit anything. I was like geez you think thats a hint to salt the bridge? He didnt answer.

So all in all there was a City truck that slid off the highway 50ft down.

Toyota scion that slid into the back of a police car and destroyed the rearend

And Cassie and I that hit the highway divider

Real nice city salt/sander operation we have here. City of Tulsa = Bullshit

All in all...cassie and I are ok. We have GAP insurance. Not sure if the car is totaled but at this point it doesnt matter...we are alive

Damn Jrod, glad you two are alight! What car was it? I know the mustang don't get out in this weather.

Well I was going to say that jrod, I haven't read to many good things about liberty's in motor trend and consumer reports. But I guess you got lucky. :)
