Re: Test n tune Sunday 15th
Hmmm...
Considering the OU men and women's basketball teams both lost and the weather should be nice, I might just do that.
I have a quest to get my stock car into the 12's David Leonard put racing brake fluid in my car today. That should be enough to make it into the 12's. Also got to ride in his car. That car is a bit of a monster. He said he's not going to the drags until he gets some DRs. If he does that, I bet he would be flirting with the 11's.

i like to see if the new throttle body helps me or hurt me. no check engine light on. i really don't feel any difference. she breaths louder a bit. might put the X pipe back on for the run.

Re: Test n tune Sunday 15th
Different platforms I know, but when I put a larger TB on mine, I mostly noticed an increase in throttle response. I can't say one way or the other if it helped me at the track.

no doubt man, brakes come in tomorrow, already drilled/tapped my stock fox spindles ready to bolt everything on, then have to get an alignment sometime this week in order to be able to track the car next week, have to find me a 1/2" spacer too for the front since the 1.75" bs skinnies wont clear still gotta have 2.25" bs so i guess i could sell them and get a 4" wheel instead but dont really wanna take a hit on my prostars that i have now, i guess i could sell them though get some new ones

Re: Test n tune Sunday 15th
The throttle body hurt me. i need to get a tune for it. i ran a 13.4 @105mph. i did better last year. these new tires scared me when i hit 2nd gear. Mucho (lots of) wheel spin and it kicked out a bit.
I got home and put the old throttle body back on and it ran so much better and the power came back. Man did i miss my OR/ X pipes. She's loud again.

Re: Test n tune Sunday 15th
It was a pretty smooth day at TRP. I can only recall one breakage that required any real downtime. Much better than the norm.
My best run of the day was a 12.05 @ 114.05. Had a couple of 12.2's also.
The most impressive thing I saw out there was a Jeep SRT8. It ran a 12.32 and a 12.26! Both runs were at 110 mph! Not sure if it had a bottle or what. I know they are pretty quick in stock form, but that was just rediculous. He was running those times on 20" street tires as well!

wonder if it was the same Jeep that ran a 13.6 stock right in front of me at the midnights last year. a stock 300C ran a 13.8 right beside him the same race.
