Re: SCT Livewire problems
ug you need to install xp vista has too many problems, my best advice to you is figure out how to get a new tune into that thing and do it quick. you dont know else it might have screwed up. if you have another vehicle drive that one till you get the stang reflashed

Re: SCT Livewire problems
have you tried going back to the stock tune?? That would verify if it is the tune, or something else??

Re: SCT Livewire problems
zach first....where did you purchase this livewire? Second..didnt we tell everyone to NOT purchase the livewire? hehe that it had problems and heard bad things? hehe
Well on to the problem at hand.
1) Where did you purchase this livewire?
2) Whos tune are you running? SCTs? a Custom one from a vendor?
3) What mods do you currently have?
4) Like others said...try using your stock tune to verify its the new tune thats causing the issues.
5) How does the car run with the tune installed? Is it dying? running fine?
More details are needed....
Also...If your running the SCT "canned" tune for our cars.....its CRAP. I mean big chunky elaphant crap. If you are running the SCT feces tune....I would suggest you call Brenspeed or Bamachips and have them make you a custom tune for the mods you currently have. Those two vendors have far and above the best tunes out there for our cars. Makes the SCT tune a joke....oh and elaphant poop

Re: SCT Livewire problems
When i got my SCT livewire back in January it was F***ed up, and it took me till March till i finally got it, and the company doesnt help you out very much either. I called 5 times and never got answers, and i even emailed them a couple times, and the day it came in the mail they finally emailed me bk and simply said. "Shud B N Mail" That was 2 weeks after i tried to email them last. But to get the "check traction control" sign off, just push the reset button above your radio. I have my traction control off and everytime i get ready to drive my car, the "Check traction control" thing comes up on my speedo and i just push reset and its good to go. If you need anymore help just give me a call or something 405-519-0682 cuz ive been to hell and back with havin problems with the SCT livewire

Re: SCT Livewire problems
Just flash the SCT with the new version of firmware and it should get the screen back again. Plus remember they changed the model of the x3 depending on when u bought it.
