Hello yall. Finally I'm back in a mustang again. I sure miss owning one. It was hard to see them new ones on the street and i kept saying that I'll get one. It took a broken heart for me to head to the dealer and buy one. Yes i was sad and heart broken when my girl friend in N.Y. dump me but later that week i was reborn and happy when I bought my 2006 GT at the dealership. I just been working my butt off just to spend my check in hooking her up. Dang..... I almost forgot to pay the bills. LOL!!!!
A little about me.... Hector Perez from New Jersey, Puerto Rican, was in the Marines for 8 years, I'm 32 years old and going to school at Spartan to be an air plane mechanic. currently working as a heavy truck mechanic at Trimac, off of 161st and Apachi.
Stang i user to own in order...... 68 coupe (I6), 76 coupe (4 cyl), 84 gt conv.(V8), 87 hatch (V8), 89 coupe (4cyl), 91 coupe (v8 331ci), now..... 2006 GT coupe. I'm hoping to make new friends here in Tulsa, hang out and drive. ')" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Hector, Back in a stang. 80656

WELCOME HECTOR!!! Man your a night owl too! its 1:22am, but I can never get to sleep before 2am. Sorry to hear about your broken heart...I have a similar story that led me to purchase my 07 GT.

Your in good company here...we have a couple of former marines...and an airplane mechanic for American Airlines in the club, so Im sure your fit in very quickly! My first ride was an 89 hatch 4cyl, then 85 GT hatch, 94gt, 98 GT, and now my 07 GT.

We have a great club here with great sponsors in Bob Hurley Ford and Archangel motorsports...so if your looking to hook your ride up..just let us know. We will lead you to the best prices AND install your parts for FREE. We have club tech days where we work on each others cars and install anything to body parts, performance parts, to stereos. Its a great deal. Save on labor costs so you can spend more on Go Fast parts.

Well again welcome. We as a club are going to the Stillwater car show tomorrow morning so I have to get some sleep. Stop in daily and chat!! Looking forward to seeing your ride. Get some pics up when you can. Later!

Well good to know you left with some useful information. Although I'm sure wrenching on Deisel Military vehicles does differ slightly from the performance car arena. The principles are similar at least. Shame they disbanded an anti terrorist unit. I guess they figure all are in the anti terrorist business these days. Time does fly though. 1999 was the end of the road for me after 6 years.

Welcome to the board Hector. I too am a fellow Marine. I did 5 years in intel and got out for a year. Then I did another 5 years as a Artillery Electronic Maintenance guy. Now I'm working Civil Service down here in Lawton/Ft Sill. Time does fly, I think I should've stuck it out for 10 more but the opportunities for me as a civilian were awesome so I just got out. I hope to make it up to a club outting this summer. Hope to see you all there.
