CCW in Tulsa area?
Anybody know of a legitimate (and cheapest) to get your CCW license? I've read a lot about how some around town are legit and some are not (private people, not businesses). Every gun shop has a business card from someone advertising their CCW class. Most I have asked just said go to Tulsa Firearms, but I've also heard they are fuggin douches there
I'd just prefer the easiest, cheapest place to get it done.
Also, anyone know of a FMJ target round that in roundheaded. I can only seem to find Wins 185 gr flatheaded target rounds.
Oh, for a 40 cal

Tulsa Firearms is where we went. I thought the class was ok. Just should not have done the membership. Only used it once

I dont know about classes, but i have a friend that has an FFL. So if you ever buy a gun and need the paper work done, or want to buy a gun from him let me know. I know Ryley at Tulsafirearms, he is OK, but dont like the way they operate the business.

Re: CCW in Tulsa area?
I took my class 10 years ago at Tulsa Firearms. Not sure whats available now. As for a ball ammo round for a .40 you might try PMC rounds or smith and wesson. I think you can get both at reasonable prices at bass pro shop or wal-mart. I haven't owned a .40 for years so I dont remember which brand I used for paper.

Re: CCW in Tulsa area?
The class I took in Norman, OK was 60 bucks and it was 6 hours of common sense. My instructor was fine but the material was really basic. After completing the class they will give you a piece of paper that goes with the packet, fingerprints and photos. The class is really just a minor step in the entire process.
